Contest department |
- The Contest Department has completed its thirty-eighth month of competition. A total of 60 articles were entered by 11 editors. Sturmvogel 66 came first with 88 points, followed by Auntieruth with 59. They receive the Chevrons and Writer's Barnstar respectively. Honorable mentions go to Parsecboy (50) and AustralianRupert (43). AirplanePro, Ian Rose, LeonidasSpartan, The Bushranger, The ed17, Wild Wolf and XavierGreen also fielded entries. Please submit any articles you are working on for the July contest.

- The WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves has been awarded to:
- Cplakidas in recognition of his truly outstanding work in improving Wikipedia's coverage of the Byzantine period through contributions which include 96 DYKs, 20 good articles, one featured article, one featured picture and numerous other article and image creations.
- Eurocopter in recognition of his long and distinguished service as a Coordinator of this project from August 2007 to May 2010; coordination of the Henry Allingham World War I Contest; his exceptional behind the scenes work in the ongoing running of the A-Class Review process; and in recognition of his contributions which include three Featured Articles and six A-Class articles.
