Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Fashion
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Fashion or clothing. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Fashion|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Fashion or clothing. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

- Delete: Non-notable individual and no indication of notability. AgerJoy talk 08:56, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete - I had removed the majority of the references as being unreliable but had not looked closer at notability. Previous AfD cites SCMP and BBC as significant coverage when in fact they are simply tabloid posts. A lot of references online but they are all churnalism and NEWSORGINDIA. --CNMall41 (talk) 20:29, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete: As per WP:ENTERTAINER guidelines a “person has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.” He got media attention for only being spotted with Bollywood celebs in major parties. Fails WP:ENTERTAINER TheSlumPanda (talk) 20:20, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

- Delete per the lack of significant coverage in reliable sources. The sources in the article are unreliable sources, passing mentions, or sources that don't mention the subject at all. I did not find significant coverage in my searches for sources. The subject does not meet Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline and Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Basic criteria. Cunard (talk) 11:06, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
Comment: I actually see a handful of good sources, but they appear to be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of garbagey sources (yes, my mother frequently used the useful word garbagey; it's on Wiktionary). It's a pity, because the subject has a large following on social media. But I don't know what to do. It's too much work for me to rescue, but if you can, ping me. Bearian (talk) 19:22, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- Delete Lack of significant WP:RS cites and a failure of WP:GNG criteria. Go4thProsper (talk) 00:42, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

WP:BLP of an actor and model, not properly sourced as having any strong claim to passing inclusion criteria for actors or models. As always, actors and models are not automatically entitled to have Wikipedia articles just because they exist, and have to be shown to pass certain specific markers of achievement supported by reliable source coverage -- but the attempted notability claim here is staked entirely on supporting or bit parts in films that don't even have Wikipedia articles about the films, and the article is sourced entirely to short blurbs and public relations fluff rather than substantive WP:GNG-worthy coverage.

- Keep: Significant roles (including various lead roles) in series and films (that have a Wikipedia page in Indonesian/Malay) and received coverage in those languages and, to a lesser extent, in English. The page needs expansion
- The productions include: Syurga Itu Bukan Mudah (2023); Kahar: Kapla High Council (2024); Scammer Geng Marhaban (2023); Gamers Mangkuk (2023).) Coverage in English includes: https://sea.ign.com/entertainment/208982/news/explores-the-lives-of-amateur-esports-players-in-new-comedy-series-gamers-mangkuk ;https://www.cinema.com.my/articles/news_details.aspx?search=2025.n_kaharheadtoastrofirst_68231 https://thesun.my/style-life/prequel-that-stands-on-its-own-HG13375222 https://thesun.my/style-life/fight-back-to-school-EL10826442
- A lot of interviews have introductions that allow to verify the roles and their significance (as well as the notability of the productions). https://www.nst.com.my/lifestyle/groove/2024/10/1124348/showbiz-thats-not-my-photo-why-am-i-being-blamed-–-amir-ahnaf for example or "people/fashion" coverage allowing the same, such as https://www.mens-folio.com/style/boys-will-be-boys-smir-ahnaf-aedy-ashraf-sky-iskandar-superdry/ https://hype.my/2023/324380/actor-amir-ahnaf-on-his-darkest-moment-feeling-empty-after-projek-high-council-success/
