Well, yeah it's a feature of many autoimmune conditions - and all of them are at least partially Type III hypersensitivities, are they not? Per statpearls: The principle feature that separates type III reactions from other hypersensitivity reactions is that in type III reactions, the antigen-antibody complexes are pre-formed in the circulation before their deposition in tissues. While ICD is often seen in Type 3 hypersensitivity, currently we have more information on the topic in the page Immune complex. Unless Type III hypersensitivity is expanded to include more information about ICD, currently Immune complex seems like a more appropriate target since it gives more information abbout ICD. From a student/learning perspective, this is what I was hoping to find, and I was simply surprised to see no page or redirect when I searched it.     It's not technically mentioned anywhere, but it's assumed (and has been on numerous occasions) since the template throws the page into a maintenance category with the usual response being to nominate the redirect for RFD. In other words, we are already discussing the "maintenance" by having this discussion, and tagging the redirect starts the process currently in progress all over again.     AFAIK, technically, only as a new page patroller. Unofficially, patrolling the redirect by "finding" it, which the nominator did. And even then, I'd imagine the majority of Wikipedia readers (not editors) would not even know or care how to view a redirect without automatically being redirected to its target page ... which apparently brings me back to the point that since the problems regarding this redirect have discovered and a discussion has been started, the odds of such issues being discovered again is rather low, so probably best to figure out a semipermanent solution during the course of this discussion.     How long should a redirect stay in the unmentioned container category? 6 months, 3, 1, 1 week? Taking it to RfD essentially makes that timeline a 1 week minimum. Do we want to assume that the editors who patrol the category are the same editors who go through each and every redirect being discussed at RfD?   • Delete; "sour apple" is not just a fruit, it's a flavoring for a wide variety of candies and liqueurs, most of which have no documented connection to the Granny Smith apple, although the color green is commonly used for marketing and labels often display green apples. The problem is finding documentation in WP:RELIABLE sources; this story suggests no actual connection to the Granny Smith, and it also documents previous names and themes used to market the flavoring.   • Delete per Carguychris. I think the primary usage of "sour apple" is an artificial flavor, with particularly sour apple cultivars being secondary to the artificial flavor. We have an article for blue raspberry flavor. There could be an article for sour apple flavor, or a disambiguation page if their is an article for the flavor and a list of sour cultivars. Chaguan

The only times Chaguan is linked to is when it's used to refer to the Chaguan people/tribe of Venezuela.

I believe "Chaguan" was originally linked as a red link, and diffs confirm that it was added before the redirect was created in Dec 2016. Immediately after the Chaguan redirect was added, it began to receive a lot of page views (Also, this had around 32k going to Teahouse and 1.5k going to Chaguan, but it seems Chaguan won't show up in the data anymore because I added a template to the redirect page).

I'm not exactly sure what the right move is because, without the redirect, the target would have been a red link. Either a) the redirect is removed, or b) it's kept and the links in Classification of Indigenous peoples and List of Indigenous peoples are edited to point to a new red link like "Chaguan people" or get deleted.  – Kilvin the Futz-y Enterovirus (talk) 04:17, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey @Arcticocean:, I don't think G4 applies here. G4 is for "recreations of a page that was previously deleted per discussion". Logs indicate this was made in February 2024 (at least the first one, I didn't check the second), therefore cannot be a "recreation" if the other title was deleted in September 2024.
There is almost certainly consensus to delete this though if the other one was deleted recently; perhaps G6 applies instead? I.e. Template:Db-xfd maybe. Utopes (talk / cont) 10:47, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, this should not have been a G4 and that was not the appropriate speedy deletion ground. Sorry about that and thanks for bringing it to my attention. I am a little confused that the nominator in the September 2024 RfD did not list these two redirects with the other one, but locating the others through search was probably not easy for an English speakers, who are used to dealing with one apostrophe maximum :). At the time I didn't realize there were other types of apostrophes used in the redirects; I was only aware of the one I came across 😅. So seeing these two pop up here was news to me.   • Delete "by [Countryname]" probably implies state-sponsored offensive online operations (compare the other "Cyberwarfare by xyz" redirects/articles, excef cyberwarfare by the United Kingdom), but I can't find any content like that for India or Pakistan.
