The FUR refers mainly to one small detail, a small device attached to the protagonist's neck, but this detail would be extremely easy to just cover with a verbal description. Still an NFCC#8 failure. • Comm: This image passes NFCC#8 or 'contextual significance' since it actually illustrates what the Prytt's electronic's device is and why it is the actual title of this Star Trek episode. Please don't file image DR's just because you disagree that one image doesn't fit your criteria when this image clearly shows how 1. Crusher and Picard could read each other's thoughts telepathically through the electronic device attached to the back of their necks and 2. Crusher being caught by the Prytt security team after risking her life to safety. So, her situation is bad. That's why the show's producers called this episode 'Attached.' If one image should be kept, this is the one. I think you have not seen this Star Trek episode whereas I just saw this episode 2 days ago on Canada's space sci-fi television network. • A comment. The electronic devices which the Prytt implanted onto Captain Picard and Dr. Crusher are telepathic listening devices. They are supposed to allow the Prytt to read the Captain and the Doctor's innnermost thoughts and the reason for their visit to the Kes-Prytt world. That is why the Prytt Minister says that 'the truth will be revealed soon enough' when they are in the Prytt prison since the device will work its way into their systems. But the devices also allow Picard and Crusher to read each others thoughts in this way--like the fact that Crusher realizes Picard doesn't like the elaborate breakfasts which she had been serving him or that Picard had strong feeling of love for her even before she was widowed--which explains why the Captain was initially reluctant to have Dr. Crusher serve aboard his ship. So, the devices are awkward for both of them and that's part of the reason the show's producers named this episode 'Attached' both literally for the device and metaphorically for the device's emotional impact due to the secrets they uncover between the Captain and the Doctor. • I never objected to your proposed deletion of the following ST Power Play image below. I completely agree that its a rather meaningless image...as you correctly claim. But here you requested an image that had a contextual significance and I believed that that the episode title 'Attached' was represented by the electronic device implanted in Picard and Crusher's necks...as shown in this image uploaded here. Why? Because it was 1. attached to their necks and 2. it telepathically linked/attached their thoughts and revealed their hidden secrets to one another. So, it was meaningful to a viewer--in part. Was this not contextually significant per NFCC#8 for this episode? If I am indeed beating the bush as you suggest, can you please kindly suggest what image here might be better?   • I'm afraid with this question you are still caught in the fundamental misunderstanding that is unfortunately shared by many editors in this field. You are approaching the issue with the preconceived premise that the infobox should have some image, and your only question is which. As long as you do that, you will never get a solution in line with policy; the only correct answer to it is: "none". What you should do is to start out from the necessities of the text. Write some non-trivial, well sourced analysis of the episode (i.e. not just plot renarration), and then, if and when you come to an impasse, where you feel the critical point you are reporting is not easily understood without visual support, then and only then you should start thinking about adding an image. I couldn't help you with this, because, as you rightly guessed, I have never watched the episode, have no particular interest in it, and the article as it stands right now consists entirely of a poorly done plot renarration; as such its chances of supporting a good case for using an image are close to nil. I think the caption of the image successfully explains why this image is in the infobox: "Sadiq sets up e-mail monitoring software on Michael's computer. The episode guest starred Omi Vaidya (left), who designed his own costume." I thought about uploading a screenshot of Michael and Jim singing at Jim's party, but I changed my mind, because that scene is not directly related to the title of the episode. Also, I think that people will immediately recognize which episode this is when they see the image, because I'm pretty sure this is the only time Sadiq is seen in Michael's office. If the costume is supposed to be the point being illustrated, this picture is useless: it shows nothing of it, except for the turban, and the latter can easily be described in words (what's hard to understand about "X wears a red turban during the episode"?). The fact that this actor featured in the episode can also be covered in words, and is already illustrated with a free photograph of the actor further down in the article. Other than that, it's really just what Stefan2 says: two guys next to each other, in a situation whose visual details tell us diddly sqat about the episode. If the sole purpose of an image in an infobox were to explain a situation that can't easily be described with words, I don't see how any image in an infobox of a The Office episode would have a purpose, since everything that happens in the show can be explained without an image. Surely you don't think all of the infobox images of The Office episodes should be removed. This image helps people recognize the episode quickly. Yes, I do think that the large majority of infobox images in these episode articles should be removed. And you yourself just gave the reason why. TV episode articles are a topic area where non-free content abuse has been rampant for years, and just because the cleanup has been far behind doesn't mean the area will remain exempt from our foundation policies forever. Keep As much as I understand the argument "This is just two guys sitting there", this is a different situation: First of all, Vaidya's costume is described in the article and is sourced to critical commentary in the production section. Second, his costume was the reason he was cast, per his admission (it separated him for others and he speculated it was what the show needed). Saying that you can described this in words in simplistic, but wrong, as there are many, many varieties of turbans, and Vaidya claimed he originally wore a towel to his audition (so the picture shows the reader his finished costume), and thus, one size does not fit all. Thirdly, the scene illustrates the main conceit of the episode, which is E-mail Surveillance. In this scene, the Tech Guy (Vaidya), sets up Michael's account. Finally, as CPnieuws pointed out, The Office is supposed to take place in the real world, and thus, many of the screen caps would not be particularly "out-there". I understand that "hard for words" is very, very applicable for sci-fi and fantasy, where effects can be difficult to describe. But this places a negative bias against "realistic" shows, such as this. Just because it isn't the most hardest shot to describe, it is sourced to critical commentary, and aids the reader in identifying Vaidya's costume, which is a part of the article.
