I'm unconvinced that the subject here meets WP:NPROF, and see little sign of meeting other notability criteria. The citation rate is moderate in what I believe to be a higher citation rate field, and the awards are minor and/or localized. Meanwhile, I am concerned about a possibly deceptive editing pattern: the page has been advanced by SPA Mededbios. While the page log history is a mess (with the logs I can read being confused between various draft and mainspace versions of the page), I recall it being Mededbios, or another contributor with the appearance of WP:COI, who requested deletion of an earlier and mostly identical draft. It appears that this may have been an attempt to divorce the page from its history. Given this history of apparent WP:COI editing and marginal notability, I would like to bring this page to the attention of other editors. Please count my own !vote here as weak delete, with the WP:TNT essay being relevant. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 20:09, 14 January 2023 (UTC)

- Delete: This subject is accomplished, but I largely agree with Russ Woodroofe. He falls short even of the WP:NACADEMIC-criteria he initially seemed to meet: his appointments are not of the highest tier, his citation count is low for the sub-discipline (as far as I can judge), and Medical Education doesn't strike me as a leading journal. I'm somewhat on the fence about the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and whether it's enough for WP:ANYBIO. Modussiccandi (talk) 20:59, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete, per Russ's well-explained nomination. I'm not convinced the award, which is given to 80+ Americans per year, is enough for ANYBIO. JoelleJay (talk) 22:19, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
