I've put your article live, since it seems you had dealt with all the issues raised. I've made some minor changes and fixes, you can see them in the page history if you are interested. There are three issues outstanding:

1. Generally refs are after punctuation, not before. I've fixed a bunch of these. No one is going to be bothered much if you leave them, but it would be nice if they all were.
2. Article categorization needs addressing. I've added three categories, but they need to be refined, and other appropriate categories added if needed. Wikipedia:Categorizing articles about people is useful.
3. You may notice not all your listed singles are showing. This is an undocumented limitation of the template, which I will try to fix fairly soon.

Sources are reliable, including Newsquest, which is a UK based newspaper company with millions of copies sold. He was mentioned in two newsquest articles in the citations. In addition, multiple other publications.
