Capitalization
Is this term supposed to be capitalized all the time? Applying English grammar rules I wouldn't think so- is it special since this was an Italian term? Loggie (talk) 19:39, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
No, it shouldn't. It is just because it is the first word of the phrase, and then the capitalization has been maintained in all its variants for uniformity. Unless you're using this term in the very particular context to indicate impersonally someone in particular, it is just a common term, not subject to any capitalization rule. 91.80.225.235 (talk) 07:47, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Merge with tifo
I cannot see a major difference between the two topics here (activity and people participating in it). One article would be best to cover this. Both terms have similar GScholar hits, so I am not sure which to chose - I'd lean to tifosi (activity), since it is a bit a broader concept (I just created an article on sports fandom, which I think is a broader concept that sports fan, which currently is just a redirect). Lastly: I am having trouble confirming this term is used in English much... maybe this should be moved to something else (after merging)? - Merge: Only one article should cover it. Itzcuauhtli11 (talk) 02:56, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
