@Number 57: I'm guessing the date in the first sentence ("General elections were held in Nigeria on 21 October 1938") was a cut-and-paste error? Do you know what the actual date of this election was? @Oravrattas: Yes, my bad – thanks for spotting it. I presume the date is in the Tamuno or Wheare sources, which I got from the British Library. I've ordered both works and will check them in the next few days. In the meantime, I've changed the date to just 1947. Number 57 09:33, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
