I am confident that Last name (Surname) of Sunil Chetri is "Chettri" (double 't') Not Chetri! He is Indian Nepali, and the last name of Nepali Chettri is pronounced "Chettri". Various sources state different birthplaces. His Goal.com site says he was born in Hyderabad. Some suggest he was born in Delhi but I've chosen New Delhi as that's on his IndianFootball.com profile. Spiderone (talk) 08:10, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to bring to light his move to Kansas City Wizards. I cannot find sources on the kansas city side of things. Most of the news is coming from the indian media. But it does seem clear that he has received a release from Dempo F.C.^[1].
