English: On Aug. 20, 2015, your LAFD was proud to welcome 43 new members to its ranks. During a ceremony at Terminal Island - Drill Tower 40 - the recruits received their badges and performed drills for friends and family for an audience that also included Mayor Eric Garcetti, Councilmember Joe Buscaino, Councilmember Paul Krekorian and members of the Fire Commission.
