English: Immature mulberry fruit, which began to appear a few weeks after the foliage began to unfurl in the spring of 2022. This particular cluster of trees bore fruit last year 2021, which was only the second year after the naturally-seeded (by wildlife, probably a bird) mulberry began growing in my garden. Up until a few years ago, I tilled under every tree seedling that sprouted in my garden. Since I live in a warm climate, I wanted more shade in my garden so I could stand under while I’m watering my plants in the middle of summer. This tree was an unexpected surprise gift from nature!
