El escudo de aduanas contiene en el círculo central los distintivos del estado español, para indicar que es de ámbito nacional. Este círculo está incluido dentro de una corona dentada que representa a la industria, al ancla simboliza la navegación y la flecha con el casco alado de Hermes en su extremo, el comercio. Las ramas de laurel y trigo representan el éxito, la agricultura y el trabajo. La corona indica que es un servicio real.
