  • Motto: AnLI yamohmikma KAMASSA (Choctaw Indian language) (Sincerity and Strength).

Symbolism

  • Shield: The magnolia, the state tree of Mississippi, is representative of the state where the unit was originally headquartered.
  • Motto:
  1. The motto is in the Choctaw Indian language.
  2. It translates to mean " Sincerity and Strength."

Background

  1. The coat of arms was originally approved for the 348th Infantry Regiment on 1925-01-26.
  2. It was rescinded on 1959-02-02. The insignia was reinstated and redesignated for the 348th Regiment (Training) effective 1993-10-01.
