AssuredPartners NL (formerly Assured Neace Lukens) is an insurance brokerage firm founded in 2011 by John Neace and Joe Lukens.[1] With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky,[2] the company has more than 500 licensed agents and more than 850 employees[3] operating in 38 states and 2 countries.[4]

History

The company Assured Neace Lukens was founded in 1991 by John Neace and Joe Lukens.[citation needed]

In September 2011, Neace Lukens was acquired by AssuredPartners, Inc.[5] In 2015, Chicago based private equity firm GTCR, owner of AssuredPartners since its inception in 2011, sold the company to Apax Partners.[6] In 2019, Apax Partners sold AssuredPartners to an investor group led by GTCR, retaining a minority co-control stake in the company. In December 2024, Apax and GTCR agreed to sell AssuredPartners to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in a $13.45 billion cash deal.[7]

In July 2020, AssuredPartners NL was listed as the 11th largest broker of U.S. business by Business Insurance, featuring the “100 Largest Brokers of U.S. Business”.[18][19]

Also the company was recognised as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Lake Mary, FL by Zippia's ranking.[20][21]
