Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Geeforce (0th nomination)
Propose we redirect to Gforce which we already have and which is more comprehensive.
- keep (I'm biased, I wrote it) "Gforce" is merely a redirect page, that points to gee.
- The page on gee is very good, but it is about a unit of measurement, not about a physics phenomenon. I think that if a wiki page refers to "geeforces", a link should take the user to a page about the effect, not to a page about the unit of measurement used to define the effect. I don't think we'd redirect links for "inertial mass" to a page about the kilogramme.
- BTW, while I was online writing that page, someone put in the redirect mentioned above and I overwrote it. Timing fluke, I guess, it wasn't personal. I also took the liberty of editing the G force disambiguation page so that it no longer gives pride of place to a picture of a pink Dyson vacuum cleaner (!), put in a redirect or two for alternative spellings, and corrected the "g" on the disambiguation page to lower-case (upper-case "G" is for the gravitational constant, not earth gravity), I think that if someone genuinely wants to tidy up this area of wikiland, things like that are probably more important than trying to see how many different articles can be merged into a single page.
