Editing tips (personal list)

For my approximate (on the lower side) total edit count on Wikipedia, i.e. including previous accounts, add 5,432 edits to my present edit count. 10,000th edit ca. March 2015; 12,000th edit April 2018. (For the current total across all Wikimedia projects, add 5,539 to this.)

I am neurodivergent, and sometimes absorb and express information atypically, so please be patient, AGF, and ask me what I mean if in doubt or if I seem to be advocating something strange or contentious. Sometimes it may take a few rounds of back-and-forth to clarify what I mean, so please don't sound-bite me and scurry to the nearest noticeboard. Wikipedia thrives far better with light than with heat, and I know I certainly do.

Especially under wikistress, I may tend to get too granular, or hyperfocused, or wordy, in which case please do let me know -- but please don't assume that such lapses necessarily indicate "bludgeoning" or other such tendentiousness. While I am (at least) as capable of making mistakes as anyone, I'm genuinely trying my best, and am grateful for your understanding.
