"Tulsa Jesus Freak" is a song by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. It was released on March 26, 2021, by Interscope Records and Polydor Records as the fourth and final single from the album, Chemtrails over the Country Club.[1]
Background
On August 30, 2019, Del Rey announced that she was working on new music, under the title of "White Hot Forever",[2] although any release under this title would not follow through, instead, the song's title would be revealed on July 23, 2020 on Instagram.
The song was officially released as a single on March 26, 2021, a week after the release of its parent album.
Composition
Tulsa Jesus Freak runs at a tempo of approximately 161 beats per minute and contrasts to the rest of Del Rey's discography with the use of heavy auto-tune.[citation needed]
