The Vacancy (Russian: Вакансия) is a 1981 Soviet musical comedy film directed by Margarita Mikaelyan. It is based on the play A Profitable Position by Alexander Ostrovsky.[1][2][3]
Plot
The film tells about a young honest and married man, the nephew of an influential uncle, who does not use his advantageous position.[4]
