In demonology, Orobas is a powerful Great Prince of Hell, having twenty legions of demons under his control.

Orobas answers questions and gives one power and control over others. He protects one from the persecution of evil spirits and also from one's enemies. He puts a stop to slander and gossip. He will foretell the future, and discern the past to the present. Orobas is the Patron of Equine. Orobas appears as a brown stallion bucking up with dust. He appears both as a small unusual looking dark-haired man. aka "The Italian Stallion".

The name could come from the Latin 'orobias', a type of incense.

Orobas is portrayed as a horse-footed student in Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.

Orobas is featured as a Shadow in many Megami Tensei (and thus Persona) titles. It is portrayed as a bipedal horse with dark red fur.
