Lindsey E. Tichenor (born January 29, 1977) is an American politician from Kentucky. She is a Republican, and has represented District 6 in the Kentucky Senate since January 1, 2023.[1] Tichenor is a realtor, and she resides in Smithfield, Kentucky.[2]
Biography
Lindsey Tichenor was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She has worked as a real estate agent at Covenant Realty, LLC, executive regional vice president of Arbonne International, and an international missionary with Water Step/Edge Outreach. She has held positions within the Republican Party in Oldham County, serving as education and district chair, as well as being a member of the Oldham County Republican Women’s Club.[3]
Political Career
Elections
In the 2022 general election, Tichenor defeated Brian Easley, a Democratic write-in candidate, with 94.5% of the vote. In the Republican primary, she defeated Bill Ferko with 54% of the vote.
Tichenor has announced her intention to run for re-election in 2026. The general election will take place on November 3, 2026.
