Description Photo of John M. Budd, who was the president of the Great Northern Railway in the US. His father, Ralph Budd, was also once president of the railroad and of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. John Budd later became the president of the Burlington Northern Railroad, which was a merger of the Burlington and Great Northern.
