I captured this poignant photograph on August 2, 2010, in the heart of Bunyakiri within the Kalehe Territory of South Kivu Province, these courageous women stand united with the compassionate team from SCIAF, a testament to the indomitable strength and solidarity that can emerge from even the darkest of circumstances. |
