Ali Mohamad Kassas (Arabic: علي محمد قصاص; born 25 February 2003) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a striker for Lebanese Premier League club Safa and the Lebanon national team.
Club career
Starting his career with Nejmeh, Kassas was loaned out to AC Sporting in February 2022 for the remainder of the 2021–22 season.[2] He was released by Nejmeh in June 2023.[3] Kassas signed for Bourj as a free agent in June 2023.[4] One year later, in June 2024, Kassas signed a three-year deal with Safa.[5]
International career
Kassas played for Lebanon U18 at the 2021 WAFF U-18 Championship in Iraq, helping Lebanon finish runners-up.[3]
Kassas was first called up to the Lebanon national team in December 2024, ahead of two friendly matches against Kuwait.[6] He scored his first goal on 15 December 2024, in a 2–0 friendly win against Kuwait in his first match as a starter.[7]
Personal life
Kassas's father, Mohammad Kassas, was also a footballer.[8]
