Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 April 17
This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on April 17, 2025.
Flabbiness
- Flabbiness → Obesity (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
- Flabby → wiktionary:flabby (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Either both should point to Wiktionary or both should point to an article. Note that there is also the concept of a flabby sheaf which we have content on. 1234qwer1234qwer4 23:42, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Dante from the Devil May Cry series
- Dante from the Devil May Cry series → Dante (Devil May Cry) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
okay, let's try this again, with the caveat that it's still a relatively weak nom. i nominated it before like a month ago (see here), but it seems the question was entirely misread, so i'll try being a little more blunt. this might seem like a weird way to word the title, but not really inaccurate or anything. however, this specific wording refers to the "featuring dante from the devil may cry™ series" meme mentioned in #other games, which i recklessly boldly created "featuring dante from the devil may cry series" as a redirect to following that discussion, so... opinions on refining to that? consarn (featuring knuckles from the knuckles may chuckle™ series) 20:49, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep per me in the previous discussion, and throw a WP:TROUT at the nominator for potential WP:BLUDGEON concerns with this nomination ... especially since the previous RfD, Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 March 14#Dante from the Devil May Cry series, which was closed only about a month ago, was closed as "keep". Steel1943 (talk) 21:33, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. If the goal is deletion, then nothing has changed since the last discussion. If the goal is refining, then I'm opposed to that because an obscure meme that might be the reason some people are using this search term doesn't justify not taking people to the content about the plain English meaning of the search term, especially if those who are looking for the specific information can easily navigate to it. Thryduulf (talk) 22:11, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- if it needs saying, the goal isn't deletion, but it's good to know that there is opposition to refining consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 21:54, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep
& Knuckles, unambiguous. Yes, it is a meme, but at the same time, how many causal everyday readers know of said meme? mwwv converse∫edits 13:46, 18 April 2025 (UTC)- if search results are anything to go off of... pretty much everyone who searches for this specific wording. just on images, it took me a good few seconds holding page down to find one result that had nothing to do with the meme, and even then, it was only there because someone made that joke on a "& knuckles" post. reliable results that aren't about the meme are also only there because they contain links to reliable results that are, and so on and so forth for whatever else you want to apply that to. it's still extremely unimportant, but i find it unlikely that anyone looking for that would expect or have been introduced to this "oddly reoccurring" string of words by anything but the meme consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 21:53, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
Battle Cry: Worship from the Frontlines
- Battle Cry: Worship from the Frontlines → Teen Mania Ministries (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
This redirect is a WP:BLARed article as a result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Battle Cry: Worship from the Frontlines. However, as it stands, the subject of this redirect, apparently a music album, is not mentioned in the target article or in the most related article Battle Cry Campaign, leaving readers with no information about this subject in the event they are attempting to find it. Steel1943 (talk) 20:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget to Michael Gungor#Early career where it is mentioned (even if only half sourced), unlink it in the Discography section of that article and adjust the link at Battle Cry (disambiguation). Thryduulf (talk) 22:18, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Center for Creative Media
- Center for Creative Media → Teen Mania Ministries (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Not mentioned in the target article, leaving the connection between the redirect and the target article unclear. Steel1943 (talk) 20:20, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Delete or retarget. I can find no mention of this anywhere on Wikipedia. There are multiple mentions of the University of Hawaii's Academy for Creative Media, but that doesn't have an article so whether that would make a good target is moot. Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre is the closest title match I've found but I'm undecided whether that would make a good search term - if it was just Creative Media Centre (or Center) it definitely would, but it isn't one of the many different institutions/organisations that google gives me on the first two pages of results for Center for Creative Media. Thryduulf (talk) 22:28, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
East Texas Adventure Course
- East Texas Adventure Course → Teen Mania Ministries (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Not mentioned in the target article, leaving the connection between the redirect and the target article unclear. Steel1943 (talk) 20:20, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Comment this was created as an article in 2005. The last pre-BLAR revision makes the connection clear but if created that way today might be speedily deleted under G11 as exclusively promotional, although that criterion didn't exist then (I say might as it's right on the borderline imo, some admins would delete some would decline, either decision would likely be upheld at DRV). Thryduulf (talk) 22:51, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Xena: Warrior Princess (album, Volume NUMBER)
- Xena: Warrior Princess (album, Volume 2) → Xena: Warrior Princess (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
- Xena: Warrior Princess (album, Volume 4) → Xena: Warrior Princess (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
There is no mention of the word "volume" in the target article, leaving it unclear what these redirects are meant to define/identify. Steel1943 (talk) 20:02, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Water (album, ARTIST NAME)
- Water (album, Annabelle Chvostek) → Annabelle Chvostek (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
- Water (album, Conor Oberst) → Conor Oberst#As Conor Oberst (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Redirects with disambiguators styled in a way where their utility is questionable. Their standardly-disambiguated titles, Water (Annabelle Chvostek album) and Water (Conor Oberst album), exist. Steel1943 (talk) 19:51, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep' Unambiguous and harmless. I wouldn't create these, but now they have been created deletion would not bring any benefits. Thryduulf (talk) 22:54, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Jessu
- Jessu → Stutthof concentration camp#Stutthof sub camps (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Not mentioned at target. Could also be a misnomer for Jessus Zambrano (note the extra "s" in the first name) or a misspelling of Jesus or even a partial title match of the movie title Jessu Jordaar. Duckmather (talk) 16:03, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
PHSC
- PHSC → Hematopoietic stem cell (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
I wonder if this should redirect to Pasco–Hernando State College. "PHSC" doesn't even appear in the current target article but appears very prominently in the Pasco–Hernando State College article. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 13:01, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- i'm going to go out on a limb and say retarget there per nom as it seems the college is the primary topic, with opposition to dabifying or keeping unless a mention of the acronym is added to the stem cell's article consarn (prison phone) (crime record) 20:34, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Disambig. I've found the following additional uses: Pasco–Hernando State College, Pickerington High School Central, Public Health Service Cluster (mentioned at Department of Health (Philippines)), pluripotential hemopoietic stem cell (a redirect to the current target, mentioned at Lymphopoiesis) and Princes Hill Secondary College. None of those show indications to me of being the primary topic. On Google the primary topic for me is very clearly PHSC plc, about which we don't have an article (I haven't investigated whether we should, but there are enough hits of google to suggest an investigation wouldn't be a waste of time if anyone is interested. An unsourced stub, written by someone whose username suggests a COI and which would almost certainly fail A7 if submitted today was deleted as an uncontested PROD back in 2006). Thryduulf (talk) 23:13, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Chrust
- Chrust → Angel wings (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Only mentioned deep within the page (apparently this is the way to refer to a singular angel wing in Polish). However, this could also be a typo of Christ or Crust, so I'm not sure what to do with this. Duckmather (talk) 07:46, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- weak delete, with admittedly no real opposition to refining. this is one of those cases where we can't know what readers will want to see, and there's not enough material for a dab or article (at least not yet), so it's probably better off gone consarn (elon's musk) (jesus crust) 20:10, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
WindowsXI
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was Speedy delete per WP:CSD#G4. It's rare that G4 applies to a redirect with a different title, but given the trivial difference to the recently deleted redirect to the same target, created by the same editor, it does apply here. Thryduulf (talk) 10:20, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- WindowsXI → Windows 11 (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Delete per Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 April 8#Windows xi and Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 February 12#Windows XI. Srleffler (talk) 05:59, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- This redirect was created during the former RfD. Does this qualify for a WP:G4 speedy? Note that the creator of this page has repeatedly recreated Windows XI despite the RfD that removed it. --Srleffler (talk) 06:03, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

Lunchtime O'Booze

- The result of the discussion was withdrawn by the nominator. Schützenpanzer (Talk) 14:36, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- Lunchtime O'Booze → Recurring jokes in Private Eye (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Not mentioned at target; passing mention exists at George Gale (journalist) but that is about all content we have on this. 1234qwer1234qwer4 02:34, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep, as mentioned at target. Fortuna, Imperatrix Mundi 10:23, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks; I suppose this can be considered withdrawn then. 1234qwer1234qwer4 23:44, 17 April 2025 (UTC)

Trebles all round
- Trebles all round → Recurring jokes in Private Eye#Euphemisms (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
No mention at target; mentions in other articles all seem to be citations. 1234qwer1234qwer4 02:32, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep It was previously mentioned there, but was removed in this edit by JzG because it was unsourced (so trebles all round for those stopping Wikipedia being a list of everything anyone can think of) I've added some sources (including a magazine citing "Trebles all round" for Private Eye itself) and put it back. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 06:29, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you! Yes, it's still a recurring theme.
- Jeff bin in? Guy (help! - typo?) 08:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep now there is a mention, per Ritchie. Thryduulf (talk) 10:27, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Leslie Church
- Leslie Church → Toronto—St. Paul's (federal electoral district) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
Redirect from a non-notable politician to the electoral district they have contested unsuccessfully several times, and are contesting again in the upcoming Canadian election, but have never been elected. There is no information at the target other than their name. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 00:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Apologies this redirect was supposed to link to 2024 Toronto—St. Paul's federal by-election Moondragon21 (talk) 16:15, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
Marginalized
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was speedy keep. The proposed target is not an article (and is actually a redirect that points to the same target). (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 09:54, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
- Marginalized → Social exclusion (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: //delete ]
wouldnt it be more understandable if retargeted to Marginalization? GustaPapp (talk) 00:02, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Said page is a redirect to the same target. 1234qwer1234qwer4 02:33, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Comment I've categorised this as a {{R avoided double redirect}} of Marginalization. This is explicitly without prejudice to any further discussion here. Thryduulf (talk) 10:30, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Keep Nominator's rationale is moot per above comments. I don't see a better target either. - Presidentman talk · contribs (Talkback) 13:01, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
