Every article under the project scope needs to be assessed for quality and importance to the project. Anybody is welcome to help assess content, change assessments, or add the project banner.
If you find content on Wikipedia that falls within the project scope, but does not have a project banner on it's talk page, add {{WikiProject Skiing and Snowboarding}} on the top of the talk page.
Class Parameter
An article's quality assessment is generated from the class parameter in the {{WikiProject Banner Shell}}. Articles that have the {{WikiProject Skiing and Snowboarding}} project banner on their talk page will be added to the appropriate categories by quality.
The following values may be used for the class parameter to describe the quality of the article (see Wikipedia:Content assessment for assessment criteria):

Importance Parameter
As of January 14, 2023, new guidelines for the importance parameter have been created. Any article assessed before this date will need to be reassessed following these new guidelines. Discuss on the talk page about this change.
