- Keep: {{History of Serbia}} is an overview template, the {{Fall of Serbian Empire}} would house key events in that era, see Fall of the Serbian Empire. Btw, rename {{Fall of the Serbian Empire}}.--Zoupan (talk) 22:35, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep: This template is perfect example of the grouping of links used in multiple related articles to facilitate navigation between those articles. Its topic has 3.410 hits on GBS (very notable considering that this is medieval event on Balkans). This template provides navigation between existing related articles on wikipedia. It would be wrong to cram all those links into {{History of Serbia}}. According to Wikipedia:Navigation templates it would be wrong to "cram as many related articles as possible into one space" because such templates "should be kept small in size as a large template has limited navigation value".--Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:15, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

- Author Comment: I don't understand why or how you came across these templates. These were just for me to easily design my pictures on my user subpage "Cool Pictures out of icons" I guess they can be deleted, but I just wanted to be able to use them without having to type in the whole "File:dc one.svg|50px" stuff. Maybe you can change the name or something so they can't be confused with the other templates.

Side note: I alos made a template out of a template. If you delete those, the links in the other ones will go bad.

- Keep European under-21 tournaments generate significant coverage, and many of the links will be blue, and it will be useful for readers to quickly click on other squad members. Eldumpo (talk) 07:44, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep consensus can change, and it appears it has. Also, for the most part these templates are blue-linked - many 100% blue linked, therefore useful in building the web. I don't buy the clutter argument as they can be stacked and I don't believe they should go simply because of some arbitrary line which says only x and y tournaments deserve templates. If they have enough links to be useful as nav templates, then keep them.--ClubOranjeT 10:04, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep As above, consensus can change. But there is still a need to arbitrarily limit these youth templates. In my opinion, European U-21 competition and FIFA U-20 competition are notable enough, where most players are already professional players, which should have their own wiki articles. However, there is no need to create templates for U-19 and U-17 squad, where most players are still in youth team or academy. I also don't believe that clutter is a major problem, a successful youth players can have at most three (two EURO U-21 templates and one FIFA U-20 template). On rare occassion there could be more, but I don't think it's a big problem because they can be grouped together in Template:Navboxes or Template:Navboxes colour. — MT (talk) 10:41, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep They are mostly blue linked and recent consensus has been in favour if these. Edinburgh Wanderer 18:49, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Comment Ok why not formed a new consensus? Did U-21 Euro is a "major senior regional event", which is the basic consensus for unlimited demand. The argument was based on "major" (as MOST of them blue linked and a few red-link in the squads list, it may be called a game for professional/young pro.) And for U-20 Cup it had half of the red link and some player (of early 2000s) never turned to professional. Matthew_hk tc 00:25, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- BTW. many "minor" event were consist of "blue-link" players. Such as Japan in Asian Cup and East Asian Cup. Some teams participate more event and some "weak" team only in "minor" event, such as Caribbean Cup. The last effective consensus in last few years deals with problem but what is the new consensus? Matthew_hk tc 00:56, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep - guys, I think we're missing the point here. Notability for these templayes shouldn't be determined by what tournament they represent, it should be determined by how useful they are. These templates are used for navigation between players, and so if templates allow that (i.e. by having a number of blue links) then they should remain. GiantSnowman 09:04, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
