Edit patterns of both EMr KnG and Erim Turukku looks quite similar (WP:DUCK) - both users engage in category spams, overcategorizations, Turkic/Turkish POV, edit warring, etc... From my point of view, it's enough to see edit histories of EMr KnG ([1]) and Erim Turukku ([2]) to get to the conclusion they are the same person. Also, User:Kansas Bear was the first to mention possible sock puppetry in this case, at Turukku's talk page. IMHO, this is a case of WP:SOCK without a doubt. Sturanos (talk · contribs) returned from a three-month long wikibreak on 22 July to edit Avar Khaganate.[3] BöriShad, who the CheckUser considered Possible to Dontbesogullible and Böri, was blocked per WP:NOTHERE after edit warring at Avar Khagnate just days earlier. At Avar Khaganate, Sturanos removes the same content[4][5] as BöriShad.[6][7][8][9][10] In May Sturanos added content at the article Saka[11] identical to content added at Sakalar at Turkish Wikipedia by sockmaster Tirgil34.[12]. Sturanos promotes[13] the Ural-Altaic languages theory just like Dolatjan.[14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21] Sturanos was in May listed as a possible sock of Bamsi2929, but was found to be technically Unrelated to both Bamsi2929 and Tirgil34. He was however appearantly Possible to Madyas. Madyas is another Turkic nationalist editor, who was blocked in February as per WP:NOTHERE and as a "likely sockpuppet". Curiously, suspected sock Gokhan Su's only edit[22] is to defend claims made at Talk:Scythians by Madyas.[23] Sturanos is clearly the same person as Madyas. Compare Sturanos' recent edit at Nader Shah[24] to an earlier edit by Madyas.[25] A pattern of inserting "Turkic" into the infobox and intro of various articles, adding List of Turkic dynasties and countries to See also sections, and adding various "Turkic" templates and categories can be observed from the edits of Madyas (many more diffs can be provided if needed)[26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40] and Sturanos.[41][42][43][44][45][46] The same pattern can also be observed in the edits of Erim Turukku (more diffs can be provided if needed).[47][48][49][50][51][52] Erim Turukku is a WP:DUCK-blocked sock of EMr KnG. Given Sturanos' suspicious appearance at Avar Khaganate to push the agenda of recently blocked BöriShad, i'm primarily adding Sturanos to check him against BöriShad and Böri. A check against Gokhan Su, Wolfie87 and Dolatjan could however be helpful too. The new user's edits are similar to sockpuppeteer. Also, he targeted same article just like before, some diffs:
- Khwarazmian dynasty: master [58]. sock [59]
- Ghaznavids: master [60], [61]. sock [62], [63]
- Babur: master [64], [65]. sock [66]
- Mughal Empire: master [67]. sock [68]
The behavior of this new account is very similar to blocked sockmaster. For example same disruption on Template:History of the Turkic peoples pre-14th century. New accounts adds Turkish language to irrelevant articles just like the sockmaster. Similar edit summaries And he has same battleground behavior (reverting and ignoring edits by other editors). Either it's ex-sleeper account of sockmaster (now active) or he's one of those typical nationalist and disruptive editors.
