Nomination
Spongefrog (talk · contribs) – Well, its been a while since I edited (or has it?), but I'm pretty sure I can handle teh admin tools, I mean I've seen them in action and they look almost too easy to use. I can remember pretty much all the stuff I learned a couple of years back, so why not Support my nom and make me an admin? What could possibly go wrong? IMO I've got a few solid years' experience, enough to handle the admin tools responsibly. Honestly, people's standards today are just too high. You have to be willing to commit hari-kari in the name of "TEH WIKI" for goodness sake. Most people will agree I'm not planning on deleting the main page, or blocking harmless user for lolz. I think? I honestly believe I could make WP 1% better given the tools. And if 100 people could do that, it would be 100% better. I won't make it any worse, will I? C'mon... Please?Spongefrog, (I am Czar of all Russias!) 18:14, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: The helpful bits. Sockblocking. Etc.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: That's like asking me to choose my favourite child.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I am right 100% of the time. Any conflicts are solely caused by other users being wrong. Not my fault, why should this question apply to me?

- Oppose JORGENEV 18:33, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per the nomination statement, answers to the questions, and the fact that the candidate supported themselves. I suggest closure of this RfA per WP:NOTNOW immediately. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 18:35, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, I am getting quite sick of these things being closed as SNOWBALL and NOTNOW before I have had a chance to look at them. James500 (talk) 18:44, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose due to serious concerns regarding Spongefrog's maturity. Salvio Let's talk about it! 18:40, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I just removed this from RFA because it's pure trolling; currently considering whether to block Spongefrog or not. Anyone who already has this on their watchlist and remembers how to close these things, please feel free; I can't recall where the instructions are. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:45, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose this clown; I have a strong feeling it isn't Spongefrog himself filing this. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 18:50, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
