Not currently mentioned at the target, appears to have been remove in a March 3rd purge of the target article's less-notable entries. If it's not readded to the article, then this redirect should be deleted. signed, Rosguill talk 20:19, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target, these are probably the names of stations that were planned along the route described at the target article. That having been said, without any mentions at the article, these redirects are of dubious utility and I would lean toward deleting them unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 20:13, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a bit hesitant about approving a mainspace –> WP-space redirect that goes to a section that could easily be mistaken for the body of an actual article, and would thus lean toward deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 20:11, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unsure about the validity of this redirect. Not mentioned in target article, and a Google search indicates this is the name of a level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 related to the White House, not mentioned at the COD Modern Warfare 2 page. It's a reference to the NATO phonetic alphabet, but the phrase could stand for anything abbreviated 'WH'. Hog Farm (talk) 19:51, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The target contains zero information about both the 2024 and 2028 editions of the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Anybody using these redirects to find specific information on these events will not be left any wiser. -- Tavix (talk) 18:01, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The article does not mention 2024 or 2028 at all.

Delete due to the implausible formatting. -- Tavix (talk) 17:55, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete implausible typo. People do not search up a country by starting with country.

Edit: According to this [[3]], ever since August 4th 2018, this redirect only got 56 pageviews. OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:09, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Anyone this knows Poland is a country would just type Poland and if for some reason they didn’t they wouldnt have typed country in the first place.--69.157.252.96 (talk) 19:43, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete This was created as an article about the country, which linked to the long existing Poland article, the first section was copied from this book about coins and the CIA World Factbook. I've deleted the non-redirect revisions as apparent copyright violations - while the World Factbook is public domain, the book on coins seems to be copyrighted. The redirect is not a likely search term, if someone wanted to make sure they got to the page about the country and not something else then Poland (country) would be the most plausible search term. Not mentioned at target. This was brought up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Food and drink/Archive 40#Chile spiced mango, where suggestions were made to re-target to Mango#cuisine or delete, though no further action has been taken. Paul_012 (talk) 15:46, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per implausible typos. Sawol (talk) 04:28, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. One would already have the real article be the top search result by the time you place the v. Also when I searched this redirect, I only got to it if I typed everything and I capitalized the j and even then, the redirect was not even a search result. OcelotCreeper (talk) 15:26, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate name for a Middle-earth river that doesn't have its own article. There is no edit history or attribution that needs to be preserved (it's always been a redirect), and this name is not mentioned anywhere on the English Wikipedia. Hog Farm (talk) 02:44, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. There is only one passing mention of Super Bowl LIX in the target article, which is literally just a note that this is the earliest occasion the event could theoretically be held in a region that doesn't have (at the time) an NFL team. Thryduulf (talk) 14:03, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete and recreate in 3 years. People are not likely to search up Super Bowl LIX yet because the only information that we have on it so far is that it is projected to happen in 2025. OcelotCreeper (talk) 15:11, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This is obviously going to be an article someday, unless the roof falls in. Encourage article creation, rather than present readers with a useless redirect with no useful information at the target. Narky Blert (talk) 22:57, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete WP:MALPLACED wbm1058 (talk) 03:02, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Weak delete. This was created on 5 August 2006 by User:Bill Sayre and moved 22 minutes later with the correct spelling. It's not used, and we don't have base name Parqet, so technically this could be moved there per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, but Parquet is a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to Parquetry, so that would seem unhelpful – were we to retarget it similarly, it would immediately become a candidate for WP:G14 reason (2) 'orphaned "Foo (disambiguation)" redirects that target pages that are not disambiguation pages'. But I think it falls through the cracks of G14 Reason (1), 'pages that "have titles ending in "(disambiguation)" but disambiguate only one extant Wikipedia page'. I could argue that any R on this pattern does that, but most are useful e.g. Colour (disambiguation), so I doubt that argument would get far. 85.238.91.68 (talk) 08:45, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom's detailed analysis. The redirect would have been WP:G6-speediable at creation, and besides it's misleading to have disambiguation redirects for terms that are not being disambiguated. . – Uanfala (talk) 14:30, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Series wasn't known as "Nationwide Series" until 2008; leaving this redirect merely causes confusion and anybody with knowledge of the subject would not link to the redirect. Also nominating 1995 NASCAR Nationwide Series. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 01:51, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
