We all know Wikipedia is the ultimate go-to for information on just about anything. But have you ever wondered how all that information gets there? Ever thought about the process behind the pages or that you could actually contribute to the content? Whether you use Wikipedia for university assignments, celebrity biographies or going down a niche 'Wikipedia rabbit-hole', there's always more information to add and enhance.

Join Auckland Museum’s Wikimedian in Residence for a relaxed, interactive session where you’ll dive into the world of Wikipedia! This session ties into Auckland Museum’s mission to better reflect the diversity of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Aotearoa New Zealand online.

Whether you’re curious about how to edit articles, or how to navigate this incredible resource like a pro, this session will give you the tools to help make the content more inclusive and diverse. Come along to learn the ropes, debunk myths, and discover how you can make a real impact in the world of free, open access knowledge.
