The audio samples are used at Exo (band). My attempt to remove them from the band article got reverted, asserting that I should have explained the removal further, so I'll explain better. The usage of the samples must comply with WP:NFCC, especially "contextual significance" (#8). If samples are needed to convey the band's music, then one or two samples would suffice. However, I do not believe that the use of samples in Exo (band) add much understanding to the (boy)band itself. The article content can already convey the band's music without needing the samples, can't it? The brief descriptions about their music should suffice without needing those samples, shouldn't they? The samples may or should belong at, respectively, Call Me Baby, Monster (Exo song), and Ko Ko Bop, but I am uncertain whether using the samples in any article complies with NFCC. --George Ho (talk) 02:45, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- As detailed at the time of upload a couple of years ago, the WP:NFCC criteria justification is contained within each of the file summaries. With respect to criteria 8 in particular, I posit that contextual significance is established as samples of a song's lyrics and musical/vocal style enhances the reader's understanding of the article topic which, in the accompanying paragraph, is the lyrical and musical style of these particular songs in addition to others. NicklausAU 03:00, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hmm... file descriptions look like one of non-templates copied from other pages, doesn't it? Banners at WP:RATIONALE#Non-template discourage copying "examples" just for shortcut. Rather they encourage (manually) writing their own words. Compare the file descriptions with my own writing at File:The Kelly Song from Cheers episode "The Gift of the Woodi".mp3 without simply copying info from other pages. - All file summaries were written using templates as guides, as I had never done it before. While that situation is not perfectly ideal, WP:NFCC criteria are still met. NicklausAU 06:01, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

- Additional cited prose needed (otherwise delete) - Somewhat against the norm, these audio clips are better justified in Exo (band) than they are in the articles on the songs themselves. The main test for NFCC #8 compliance is whether the non-free content is the subject of critical (non-trivial) discussion, reflected in properly cited prose. In the main article, the samples are used to illustrate the evolution of the band's style as they shifted from genre to genre. That discussion needs to be copied into the article itself and expanded upon (i.e. it can't just be in the {{Listen}} template). The articles themselves don't appear to explain the significance of the clips - the same information about how the songs represent a change in the band's style over time need to be in cited prose in those articles, and the samples should be brought out of the infobox and put into the section where that prose is, in order to justify their inclusion. I can't seem to find anything that can prove the license that was given to the file when it was created in 2007. I guess it must be turned into non-free if proof isn't found. Jonteemil (talk) 06:47, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Convert to non-free The uploader comments "This image is free to use, but there was no such options to chose in the list." - it appears they don't understand that "free to use" is not a license. So yes, this should be converted to a non-free license and given a FUR. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 21:53, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

- Keep The need and purpose are described in the {{Keep local high-risk}} template on that file's description page. If you don't believe that the practice espoused by the template - maintaining local copies of high usage files to protect against vandalism - is a good one, that's better addressed in an RFC that would apply to all 160 or so images that use that template, rather than just this one file. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 22:01, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Keep per @The Squirrel Conspiracy:. I also suggest ALL national flags have their own local copies since they are also considered as high risk too. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 08:45, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Failed Prod. Orphaned image and blurry. With regards to the two noted indivduals in the image (first two from the left) , the gentelman has an image in his article but Celine Chen does not. This image is not appropriate for her article and a crop of this out of focus image would be poor. Jordan 1972 (talk) 17:17, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
