No license stated. Labelscar blog is all rights reserved, so I doubt this can be fair use — but would it qualify as "non-free historic image" since the chain is defunct? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 16:32, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't see this image communicating a lot of information. The logo could be extracted (if not available from any other source) and as an independent element would be public domain. Otherwise, it looks like any other mall store entrance, with nothing unique being conveyed that I can see that might justify its use as "historic". postdlf (talk) 00:25, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- In other words, delete, fails WP:NFCC#8. postdlf (talk) 19:13, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - It will be difficult to clear the photo as anything but non-free, even if the original source has vanished from the net, clearly the photograph is sufficiently recently to fall under default copyright law. As Postdlf stated, the store's logo could be extracted/recreated as uncopyrightable text, and used instead - in other words, NFCC#1 is not met. --MASEM (t) 00:45, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stated variously as own work by uploader, copyright released by http://www.nisbat-e-rasooli.co.uk/, and (originally) as under the Open Government License (a free license used by governments in the U.K.). Also, subject does not appear to be notable, and the article about him was just nominated for speedy deletion for no evidence of any notability, so could be out of scope. —innotata 20:55, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Animated gif of the gun in question used under a claim of fair use. The article already has a free image of the gun that demonstrates the bent head and on which the digital camera display could be pointed out. And even if we didn't already have a free image, certainly one could be created. --B (talk) 22:37, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I found the animation extremely useful and informative in practically showing exactly how the system works. In this respect, is far better than the still shot (sorry, image), which does not usefully show the viewscreen. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a moving picture . . . The result of the discussion was: delete. This discussion and the file description page give me no reason to believe that Dzoma is the copyright holder, and thus it is not his place to assign a free license to the photo. One can have a copy of the photo in one's collection, but one can still not be the copyright holder for the photo. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:40, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
