  • For global renamer: rename user
  • Reason: Dear Madam / Dear Sir. I just registered with Wikipedia. However, the user name I chose isn't displayed the way I entered it. The masculine definite article "ὁ" (pronounced "ho") at the beginning must be lowercased, so that the entire username looks like this: "ὁ οἶστρος" (without the quotation marks). I tried to somehow change it back to how I entered it upon registration myself but couldn't find an option to do so anywhere. So, please change the username for me, so that it is displayed properly. Thank you very much. (I just checked the preview page: There AGAIN the lowercase character automatically changed into an uppercase one, which is INCORRECT and makes no sense: in academic writing of Ancient Greek, even at the beginning of a sentence, lowercased words STAY lowercased. What gives? PLEASE help me here! What am I doing wrong?) ὁ οἶστρος 18:58, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
  • SoxBot Beta has evaluated this request, and a problem(s) was found. Target username exists, and it has edits, deleted edits, and/or log edits. SoxBot (talk) 19:00, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done The requested username is the same as your current name, aside from the first letter being in lowercase. Due to technical limitations, usernames must start with an uppercase letter. However, you may use the template {{lowercase}} on your user and user talk pages, and change your signature to reflect your preference. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 20:57, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bureaucrat note: - you're 100% sure you aren't affiliated with this organisation? Seems like a strange choice of name if you're trying to avoid personal problems, could you choose something definitively neutral? The Rambling Man (talk) 21:34, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done matches real organization. RlevseTalk 13:24, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Reason: I would like to exercise my right to vanish, assuming I qualify. If I do not meet the requirements or this cannot be carried out for whatever reason, then please just ignore this request. Otherwise, please rename my account to a random character string and delete my talk page along with whatever possible on Meta/Wikimedia. miro modo (talk) 06:06, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Bureaucrat note: From your comment, you don't appear too worried about people knowing which contributions are yours. If that is the case, we can delete your userpage (but not the talk page), or you can just blank both of them and place the {{retired}} template on them. That last way is what we recommend as that allows you to come back much more easily should you ever decide to change your mind about leaving (and this actually happens fairly often). ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 07:29, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Deleting the userpage should be sufficient, thank you. miro modo (talk) 11:28, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: While i personally agree with the message of your user name it is not appropriate for Wikipedia and does need to be changed. Your requested user name could run afoul because of http://www.zenith.com/ and to avoid any concerns with promotional user names i would suggest something other than Z_enith delirious & lost~нuɢѕ~ 09:35, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Z enith" is also very close to the existing user Zenith (talk · contribs). I think this user should be allowed to take their time to find a new username, as the current one isn't outrageous, and their contributions have not been problematic yet. Also, this very new user has found themselves involved in a AFD, and is probably getting quite weary from reading Wikipedia policies. John Vandenberg (chat) 03:10, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
