Nominator's rationale: I have previously nominated this page for speedy deletion on the grounds that it was empty, but the request was declined. Although the page does contain subcategories, all of the subcategories are empty. Furthermore, this category is a duplicate of Category:Media franchises, which seems to be the main venue for the articles that would otherwise be in this category. Delete – The category itself is not empty, though it contains mostly empty categories. It looks like this is the former maintenance category for WikiProject Media franchises, which was superseded by the tree at Category:WikiProject Media franchises articles created by Jj98, I'm guessing over some objection about grammar. I can't find any record of a discussion about this change, but it's been stable for several years, so we may as well leave things as they are and delete the old categories. REname but to Category:Audencia of Guatemala. That in 1609 was promoted to be the Captaincy General of Guatemala. Strictly the inclusion of events of 1525-1540 would be an anachronism. Nevertheless, since the Audencia did not exist for as long as 100 years, we do not need a split by centuries. El Salvador categories for the period from 1609 should be in those the Category:Captaincy General of Guatemala, which might merit a split by centuries. At present the article on the Captaincy General or "kingdom" seems to be structured as if it were a new country (or colony), when it was only restructured with a new title in 1609. I am reluctant to encourage the use of the translation to "kingdom", which implies full sovereignty for a person who was actually no more than a viceroy. However, due to the vague name, people have been mistaking it for a "misc. userboxes" or "all userboxes" dumping ground, so some items in it need to be recategorized into particular subcats of Category:Userboxes after the rename. Rename to Category:User templates about userboxes. I don't think the proposed name is very clear either. It sounds like any userbox could be a "userbox-related user template". I thought of "Edits-related user templates", because they're mostly edit counters and the like, but a few are broader, about topical editing preferences, editing approaches or philosophies, etc., so they'd have to be recategorized if the name were that narrow. (And the edit-counters need to move into the Category:Statistical userboxes subcat with the rest of them, anyway).
