• Comment Broken mirrors/broken minds, republished in 2010 by a university press (Worldcat), has received reviews. E.g. Book review: Broken Mirrors/Broken Minds, by Maitland McDonagh (Bright Lights Film Journal) and Review: Maitland McDonagh’s Broken Mirrors/Broken Minds: The Dark Dreams of Dario Argento (Slant Magazine). • Keep--A leading author in the fields or horror and erotica, with a long list of books and of essays in books. A well-known film critic in major publications. A frequent on-camera commentator in documentaries and on DVDs, including from the Criterion Collection, with one such commentary nominated for a Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award. A speaker at arts festivals and cultural institutions including Lincoln Center and Museum of the Moving Image. Addendum: One's notability as an author is exemplified by being invited to speak at major museums. Here is a source for the Museum of the Moving Image: [1]. Also, here's a Filmmaking on the Fringe review from Bright Lights Film Journal: [2]. Film Threat: "one of the most recognized film critics in the US media" [3]. • Keep - I must not be up to date with what BMK is referring to, but I coincidentally have read one of this author's book and believe that she meets WP:CREATIVE in that she is regarded as an important figure in her genre given the numerous documentaries that cite/interview her.
