Non-notable individual lacking in-depth, non-trivial support. reddogsix (talk) 15:42, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

- Keep: Considerable press coverage in Nigeria. African women in business cannot be expected to enjoy the same international coverage as those from Britain or America.--Ipigott (talk) 05:59, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - Where is the in-depth, non-trivial support? There are a large number of women from Africa that are able to meet the requirements. All it takes is a couple of articles that meet the criteria of in-depth, non-trivial support. Your comment that the subject does not only serves to dilute the argument for inclusion. reddogsix (talk) 17:10, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep: Lanre Da Silva is very notable. HandsomeBoy (talk) 13:51, 9 April 2018 (UTC).

- Keep: She is mentioned in several books on African fashion. The info has been added to the article.Abonzz (talk) 16:26, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - Being mentioned in a book is far from in-depth, non-trivial support. The book mentions do not support inclusion into Wikipedia. reddogsix (talk) 17:10, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- She is mentioned in the book "Fashion Africa" as being a fashion favourite and receiving numerous accolades. The authour of the book is an industry expert : https://books.google.ca/books?id=-ZtnAwAAQBAJ&pg=PA155&dq=lanre+da+silva,+fashion+africa&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjaqemY6K_aAhWGmeAKHRfYC4gQ6AEIKTAA#v=onepage&q=lanre%20da%20silva%2C%20fashion%20africa&f=false
- Italian Vogue has also done several articles on her and other articles cite her as being a leading designer in Nigeria. I added the new info to her wikipedia page so you can check it out. Abonzz (talk) 13:37, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep A bucketload of sources turn up on a news search. She's also mentioned in this UNESCO report, though I can't get a Google Books preview so I don't know how much coverage is there. I can't see any evidence that the in-depth Punch article isn't a reasonable source to use. Remember that Nigerian people will generally have less online coverage than what we see on Western topics. - Keep Strikes me as having received enough press coverage to meet the notability guideline. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 15:03, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep Sufficient indications of notability to meet GNG. Selected to participate in the UN's Fashion for Development 2012, [1] Naomi Campbell opened 2018 Arise Fashion Week wearing her design,[2] features in Elle [3] and Vogue [4] clearly indicate notability. - Keep. Meets notability criteria per all of the above. -- The Anome (talk) 17:47, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. Elle and Vogue, in consideration of fashion, are for sure important news, the opposite of trivial. Elisa.rolle (talk) 17:52, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
