Hundreds, if not thousands of players sign professional contracts and then never make a professional appearance, so let's just wait until he actually plays a game in the MLS – then the article can be easily restored.   • That's generally because amateur sports aren't nearly as big in other countries as they are in the United States. I'm not sure how the situation in the rest of the world is relevant - what matters is the coverage in reliable sources, and amateur sports receive significantly more coverage in the United States than other countries. • Move to draft space - this article should not have been written yet - there's no significant media coverage so fails WP:GNG, and since he hasn't played at the major level yet, it's WP:TOOSOON. That being said, the best solution to preserve this work is to move to draftspace with instructions to not resubmit until after he plays a professional game.
