I have some doubts about notability, since the statements in the article are largely unsourced (for instance, it says that he won the Edlund Prize, but I didn't find any RS for that). HPfan4 (talk) 16:08, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

- Keep. I've spent some time going through Swedish newspapers, and I think there's enough coverage to pass WP:GNG. Edlundska priset is mentioned by his employer (Uppsala University) in one publication, but not something I'd build an article on – I figure that probably means he was awarded it, at the very least. /Julle (talk) 21:59, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- Keep. Very substantial citation record passes WP:Prof#C1. Xxanthippe (talk) 08:00, 28 July 2022 (UTC).
- Keep several major national newspapers have repeteadly sought out Thidé to solicit comments on physics discoveries, but the only in depth coverage I've encountered were in local papers. I'm not wholly convinced with respect to GNG. However, there's a healthy number of citations and he has published in both Nature Physics and Physical Review Letters (C1).
