I want to close this discussion even though a consensus hasn't established a decision on the optimum redirect target. Thanks for the link, User:Enos733. However, WP:SPORTBASIC mandates that we have SIGCOV present in the article for sports bios. The link is just a passing reference with this one sentence: "The last Chilean to take a medal in this event was Arturo Melcher, who took bronze in 1951."
