The result was delete. The sole Keep !vote does not seem to cite specific policy/guideline on why the article is notable, and is specifically rebuffed. As such, notability does not appear to be demonstrated Nosebagbear (talk) 10:12, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this place passes WP:GEOLAND. GNIS sources it to a rural schools map (Since school != actual community in the time this was active in rural America, it seems a little odd to source it to a school directory) and gives it a census code of U6, which means it is not an officially incorporated place, meaning it likely fails WP:GEOLAND. Does not appear on pre-GNIS small-scale topos. The State Historical Society calls it a post office. A search for coverage only brings up a bunch of WP:SPS family histories and mentions that someone "from" Almon died. Does not seem to meet WP:GEOLAND or WP:GNG. • Keep. Revised article to include year of first settlement. Nominator is dead wrong to imply a community must be "incorporated" (Municipality) in order to be notable on Wikipedia.
