Welcome to WikiProject Computer graphics, a project to better organize information in articles related to the field of Computer graphics. This project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. This page documents the general scope of this project. Scope
This project is involved in the following criteria:
- 3D computer graphics
- 2D computer graphics
- Mathematical concepts or algorithms related to computer graphics
- Hardware
- Software
- Graphics libraries
- Graphics standards and file formats
- Graphics APIs (ie Vulkan, OpenGL)
What this project is not:
- Software tangentially related to computer graphics (ie web browsers)
The project aims primarily to:
- provide guidelines and recommendations for articles that describe all aspects of Computer graphics
- improve Wikipedia's coverage of the Computer graphics field by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles
- serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to Computer graphics on Wikipedia
- maintain the portal
This WikiProject aims to organize, expand and improve all Wikipedia's articles on areas or subjects relating to computer graphics, 3D computer graphics and related subjects.
