WIKG (92.1 FM) is a radio station licensed to Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, serving the Hagerstown, Maryland, area.

History

On March 22, 1976, at 10 a.m., the station signed on as WRCV.

On August 8, 1983, WRCV changed their format from adult contemporary to oldies, branded as "92.1 Gold", and changed its call sign to WGLL.

In November 1993, WGLL changed their format from oldies to hot adult contemporary, branded as "Star 92.1" and changed its call sign to WSRT.

On February 28, 2005, at noon, WSRT changed their format from classic rock to top 40/CHR, branded as "92.1 The Point", and changed its call sign to WPPT.[2]

On March 5, 2012, WPPT changed their format from classic country back to top 40/CHR, branded as "Now 92.1", and changed its call sign to WNUZ.[3]

On November 18, 2016, WNUZ rebranded as "92.1 Hits FM".[4]

On September 27, 2019, the station dropped its contemporary hit radio format again, and began stunting with Christmas music. On September 30, 2019, the station changed its calls from WNUZ to WIKG,[5] and switched to classic hits as "92.1 The Goat".

On October 7, 2024, WIKG changed their format from classic hits to sports, still under the "92.1 The Goat" branding.[6]
