Plot
Yedukondalu "Yedu" (Ravi Teja) is an uneducated, but head strong youth in Bobbarlanka village. He and his village heads decide to close down the nearby factory, as it is letting out a lot of pollutants into the river which is the main source of food, water and livelihood for them, by appealing to their constituency MLA Byragi Naidu (Sayaji Shinde). Yedukondalu sets out to Hyderabad along with his grandmother Mangatayaru (Telangana Shakuntala) and his childhood friend Manga (Aarti Agarwal). They temporarily stay at a house belonging to Sannasi Naidu aka Sunny (Ali)'s house, Yedu's friend who is running a business at Hyderabad and try to get their work done by the MLA.
In the process, Yedukondalu locks horns with Swarnakka (Nalini) and her younger brothers, who happen to be the MLA's goons and are responsible for his illegal dealings, after he breaks one of Swarnakka's brothers' (Pasupathy) hand when he tries to misbehave with Manga at a riot. After all this, Byragi Naidu begins to show his true colors and attempts to butcher Yedu along with Swarnakka as he is forming as an obstruction to his underground activities. However, Yedu survives the attempt and along with Manga and his grandmother, shifts to a house belonging to Swapna (Reema Sen), a journalist who stays in Yedukondalu's locality and has a heavy crush on him. Yedu decides to bring down the MLA and also close down the factory.
Using Swapna, he gets Byragi Naidu's signature at his memopad and forges a letter praising an adult film and requesting it to be published in a daily newspaper. The newspaper editor believes it and publishes it the next day, triggering agitation among political parties and people start demanding his resignation, causing him to lose a ticket for the post of Deputy CM. He sends Swarnakka and her gang to finish Yedu and his people, and in the process end up injuring Manga. After meeting Manga, he meets Venkateswara Rao (Manoj K Jayan), a Circle Inspector who assisted Yedu in arresting Swarnakka's brothers by making Yedu as an eyewitness but was deemed mentally insane by Byragi Naidu. To exact revenge, Yedu assists Venkateswara Rao to escape from the hospital, who kills Swarnakka's brothers and frames Byragi Naidu. Meamwhile, Yedu learns from Swapna's friend's father, an ex-officer working at the state pollution control board that there are five chemical factories like the one in his village, and that Byragi Naidu owns a stake in those factories.
Later, to get his village's issue to the limelight, Yedu blackmails the MLA's assistant and mixes his village's polluted water at the water glasses served at the ruling party's meeting. Byragi Naidu and the other party members drink it and end up in the hospital. Yedu discloses to the media about his village's problem and admits that he mixed the contaminated water in the meeting's drinks. He reveals that he came to the city to highlight his village's problems to the MLA, but decided to show his dark side to the public after he refuses t help him, and vows to expose the person. Byragi Naidu and Swarnakka decide to frame Yedu by killing the CM. Yedu defeats Swarnakka's henchmen and Swarnakka dies after her car hits a transformer while attempting to run over Yedu. He learns about Byragi Naidu's plan from his assistant.
The MLA attempts to kill the CM but is thwarted when Yedu lets out a hoax bomb alert. Yedu is arrested. When Byragi Naidu once again tries his luck to kill the CM, Yedu uses his skills and gets Byragi Naidu killed by police officers who were aiming for Yedu. The CM exposes Byragi Naidu, and takes action by closing the chemical factories, and praises Yedu for his actions, while Venkateswara Rao and the ex-officer get their jobs reinstated. Yedu and his fellow villagers celebrate their victory.
