Welcome,

  • I welcome all feedback/Changes/Reviews/Suggestions

If you wish to discuss any changes by me, please leave a msg below. My passion is to help spread digital revolution and preservation of heritage in the less developed parts of the world by bring lesser known subjects to limelight by documenting them on wikipedia, for which I take the approach of starting many new wiki articles, watching and incrementally refining those over time. As a result, all feed back is encouraged and welcome, but please be patient, pragmatic and kind :)

  • Please leave a REASON and WORKABLE SUGGESTIONS if you revert any of my work

If you revert any of my work, please leave the reason and workable & specific suggestions that can be applied to the work to reinstate the work in modified form. In case of contentious and subjective judgments, please first discuss and mutually agree as we may have different approaches. I will happily resolve/fix/take-on-board all feedback and reasonable suggestions for the changes. I will try to respond and RESOLVE each and every objection, suggestion, etc. Once resolved/addressed, I will remove those from this talk page of mine to keep it clean. Those issues that still need further action/resolution/changes from me they will remain on this page (see below for the pending action-item list).

Thanks in advance for helping me with yo reviews, suggestions, etc.

See also sections

The "See also" section should not contain external links, which you have recently added to several articles. Please read WP:SEEALSO for style guidelines. Brianhe (talk) 17:20, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, a lot of the links you added are already in the Haryana navbox. Please don't duplicate links in See also.

One final note (probably). Please use the section layout style listed at MOS:LAYOUT. The last few sections should be See also, then References, then External links, followed by navboxes and then categories. Department of Elementary Education, Haryana is really garbled and should be corrected. — Brianhe (talk) 17:54, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for the tips and nice actionable explanation. I will incorporate those and re-do the work over next few days/weeks. Thanks again.

Btw, any suggestions on who to propose "merging of two wiki articles"? What happens when merger is proposed (content gets merged? who merges it? if i propose the merger, do I need to copy paste/merge or the one executing the merge will do it?) thanks in advance.

Edit summaries, please

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Brianhe (talk) 17:58, 5 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Dhillon shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Sitush (talk) 17:00, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nasty diatribes like this will surely get you blocked. Stop. - NQ (talk) 17:31, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning

I've removed your string of personal attacks on Sitush's page. Please take this as a final warning. Read the policy No personal attacks and don't do it again, or you will certainly be blocked. Bishonen | talk 20:55, 7 December 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Hey... what is it..

@Bishonen | talk 20:55, 7 December 2014 (UTC). What is it... an exclusive group of some WP TALIBANS...who are good at destroying, self-appointed purist who GANG UP any one who asks them questions abt their ANTI-SOCIAL and DESTRUCTIVE (non)-contribution at WP?[reply]

Ask Sityush to clean up his behavior than issue me nonsensical warnings... Im frustrated with destructive WP bullies. Some admins add no value, they in fact should not be on WP. additionally, they have a very bad and NEGATIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT. They belong in a rehab and mental health counseling center, not on WP. I can empathize with them but why must we have to suffer those on WP.

Vdhillon (talk) 09:28, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

Your continued talk of things like "rehab and mental health counseling center", and your post on my page, show that you either have no idea what personal attacks are, or else you're just not interested in following our policies. I'm afraid they're not optional; you can't edit here if you're going to ignore them. I have blocked you for 48 hours. Please use the time to read the policy on personal attacks. Here's the link again: No personal attacks. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bishonen | talk 10:07, 8 December 2014 (UTC).[reply]

I do get your point but I am loosing patience. and it seems some admins excel in running passionate constructive admins off WP thru attrition of patience" I have seen many of his comments about other editors (name calling, etc... i had lost respect). Also, I sense that admins might be a CLOSE-KNIT band (), I may eb wrong on this count, I wish I am WRONG ON THIS. Please help me GUIDE these DESTRUCTIVE ADMINs as their butchering acts is pushing off thousands of EDUCATED and CONSTRUCTIVE WELL-MEANING editors of WP. Mt frustration stems from TALIBANI WP ADMINS who have learnt smart ways of bullies, destruction and somehow have their ways by throwing out-of-context rule books, devising new rules in exclusive tiny communities that lack bigger picture, rules with tunnel vision, rules lack lack objectivity, subjective rules, etc. I mean not many editors have time to argue those, follow those through WP arbitration/appeal process etc. and they are permanently turned off from WP. community loses out as a whole due to very few TALIBANI rude arrogant destructive Admisn who seems to abuse the authority that has UNFORTUNATELY ended up in their hands.

Re: "cousneling" etc it is NOT meant to INSULT or PROVOKE. I mean ti from PURE heart, I truly believe he needs it, I wish there was some kind of PRIVATE INBOX where i could have sent it to him (not in public). My responses are not out of EGO. My concern is POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION, I am all for QUALITY and RULES but they must be CONSTRUCTIVE, PRAGMATIC, ACTIONABLE, SIMPLE AND EASY (not piles of complicated bureacracy to tiurn wiki into exclusive group of destructive egomanicas who excel at leaving NEGATIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT and leave WP poorer in being inclusive knowledge repository through the use of narrow poorly designed biased set of rules). Hope you can feel my frustration and concerns for the community. If you know the guy, then please talk to him private, so instead of getting his edit count up by butchering thousnads of edits and running editors off WP, he can actually pick and improve only few pages (without being obsessive and territorial about those pages) and help few editors on those pages through their learning curve nicely. I have had benefit of learning through many patient and kind admins/co-editors who leave me detailed actionable feedbakc to improve my edits, i usually incorporate their feedback and remove from my page (i use my page as to do list) but hard to tolerate the destructive and unethical bullies like Sityush and some more getting warning form others abt it..it makes me feel its is gang of TALIBANS...i hope not... please help me deal with it, help me educate and guide admins to become more constructive, pragmatic, flexible and they still maintain quality without being butchers or being arrogant)

You seem to base a lot of your ranting against Sitush (how about trying to get his name right?) on the assumption that he's an admin. I don't know where it comes from. He's not, and thus is not part of any close-knit taliban admin mutual protection bullying cabal. Pure heart or ego is not the point; just please comment on content, not on contributors. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Darshan Kumar, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Vdhillon, I have converted your temporary block for personal attacks to an indefinite one for copyright problems. Indefinite does not mean infinite, but you cannot keep copy-pasting content into Wikipedia. You have been warned of this issue and of policies in the past more than once - here in August 2014, for instance, and here on 29 September 2014, where a thorough warning was given to you. You acknowledged the latter with a note that you would avoid these issues in the future. But on November 21st, less than two months later, you copy-pasted substantial content from [1] into the now deleted version of Masroor Rock Cut Temple. This one had already been discovered and pointed out to you, so you rewrote it. I have just discovered that you based Mini Zoo, Bhiwani on content copied from [2] on November 6 2014. Ch. Devi Lal Herbal Nature Park, which you created on 24 October, has copy-pasted content in it. Hisar Army Golf Course was created with copied content in it on 7 November. This is the reason you have been blocked - in spite of clear warning and information on how to comply with our copyright policies, you have continued to violate them.

If you want your account to be unblocked, I believe it is necessary for you to convince us that you understand our copyright policies and will comply. In short, almost all content you place on Wikipedia must be written in your own words. You may use brief and clearly marked quotations from your sources in accordance with non-free content policy and guideline. If you can prove a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you may copy more content, but only if you follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Plagiarism. If you copy content from other Wikipedia articles, you must follow the steps at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. But, again, almost all content you place on Wikipedia must be written in your own words.

Because of these articles are because I have also found copying in older articles - Thakur Dass Bhargava Senior Secondary Model School and Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences - I am opening a contributor copyright investigation to request community review of other content. Any copy-pasted content will need to be reviewed and addressed. You will not receive individual notices of problems that are found - please watchlist Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20141211 if you would like to know when problems are found and removed. The backlog at CCI is considerable, so this work may take some time.

If you have questions about our copyright policy or how to comply with it, please let me know. I will be watching your page, but you can also help ensure I don't overlook them by pasting my username in your response or using {{ping}}. I will likely leave review of any unblock requests to another administrator. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:10, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
