Rollback
Hello, this is just to let you know that I've granted you Rollback rights. Just remember:
- Rollback gives you access to certain scripts, including Huggle and Igloo, some of which can be very powerful, so exercise caution
- Rollback is only for blatant vandalism
- Having Rollback rights does not give you any special status or authority
- Misuse of Rollback can lead to its removal by any administrator
- Please read Help:Reverting and Wikipedia:Rollback feature to get to know the workings of the feature
- You can test Rollback at Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback
- You may wish to display the {{User wikipedia/rollback}} userbox and/or the {{Rollback}} top icon on your user page
- If you have any questions, please do let me know.

Ryder Cup
Hello, I'm Super48paul. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Ryder Cup without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You seem to be a serious contributor - but why did you delete so much in the article that you contributed to a lot?! Please provide adequate comments. Cheers. Super48paul (talk) 16:11, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Ma75k. Thanks for your comment but removing the content from Ryder Cup makes sence because I created separate pages for both the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2022 Ryder Cup and moved the content there. Thanks.

I wrote him but he ignored me:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:ScrapIronIV Velliscig = Italian surname, Velišovští z Velišova = Czech noble family. why there are two pages about the same? - I also cam upon this during vandalism patrol, and found the subject of the article been changed. I simply reverted to long standing content; such a change is equivalent to a move or deletion and would need to be discussed. Like any patroller, I am maintaining the status quo pending comprehensible discussion. It's not an area that I would be contributing in, so all I have is policy to follow. Gospel of Mark "Vandalism"
Hello Super48Paul, you reverted my change about the Gospel of Mark, wherein I deleted the portion that made the false claim that most modern Historians reject the Markan authorship of said book. This is, as I said, simply false. Most modern Historians and New Testament critics concede the fact that Mark wrote Mark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.191.44.171 (talk) 09:40, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello!
Hi, Paul,
Sorry for the confusion earlier. If I remember correctly, I twice reinstated the CSD tag after an IP attempted to remove it. Then, I read the WP:SPEEDY page, and realized that "The creator of a page may not remove a speedy deletion tag from it. Only an editor who is not the creator of a page may do so." Thus, I restored it by reverting myself. Sorry for the trouble -- it was my mistake. You did the right thing. GABHello! 19:33, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the information!
Thank you for the information! I decided to undo the changes I made in the article that I was editing as well as to undo the most recent change to it, since it seems that it was merely vandalism (I couldn't find any information that would verify the previous editor's claim). Cheers, and thanks again! Parrhesiaste (talk) 20:36, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

Global Journal of Environmental Science and Management
Hi. I didn't intentionally remove it. I was trying to edit the page and I was unaware of how those tags worked. Anyway, I don't think this is an advertisement. Many other journals too have a wikipedia entry such as Scientia Iranica, Journal of Materials Chemistry and many others. Professor Jafar Nouri (talk) 09:47, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

- Of course. Thanks for your response. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientia_Iranica, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journal_of_Materials_Chemistry; I don't think it's uncommon on wikipedia to create a page for an academic journal. Professor Jafar Nouri (talk) 10:15, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

- Thanks for the links. I am inclined to say that these links also qualify for speedy deletion (sorry about that). But let me wait with any other such action until a decision has been reached about that first of your journals: Global etc.Super48paul (talk) 11:01, 28 October 2015 (UTC) ::By the way, if the journal entry survives at all, trimming would be necessary (do not list all the subareas etc.).Super48paul (talk) 11:20, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Andrew Glover (composer)Reasons for removal of material.
By reverting back to the original liabalous section you are putting us in danger of being sued by this person. He has sued twice in Britain and won over this allegation. The "Daily Mirror" is not a trustworthy newspaper as it was proven that they were part of the telephone hacking scandal not so long ago. The person in question has always denied ever giving that interview and with the left-wing putting names on the supposed list to cause trouble I think it would be VERY wise not to keep putting this back in when it has no baring on the actual person. He is not a member of the BNP and never has been. Even the BNP have said that this is the case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.150.65.144 (talk) 07:52, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
Constand Poor Source Sensationalist Tabloid Removal
This line of copy was removed due to standards set by BLP guidelines not to use poorly sourced sensationalist materials from tabloids. The Burden is on the editor who wishes to restore it to the article to show otherwise......Here is part of the line of copy for reference "Additionally, in 2005, Shawn Upshaw Brown, a woman whom Cosby admitted to having an extra-marital affair with in the 70's, publicly accused Cosby of drugging and raping her the last time the two...." It's sourced at the Daily Mail with sensationalist headline and other tabloid material. The article also suffers from the insert of the material as there is no context for it in relation to the Constand case. It should be promptly removed per BLP. PS It also does not help to claim a fellow editor is involved in an edit was that will end 'badly, that sounds like a threat.66.235.36.153 (talk) 01:55, 16 December 2015 (UTC)Respectfully A Contributor
- Edit warring can end very badly for the IP. I left a comment on the talk page, because we may need to reconsider this one. -- BullRangifer (talk) 08:20, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Bull since there was no 'edit war' your track record of anything ending 'badly' is still zip. Stop talking trash about fellow good faith editors...like telling them to go away and write a blog. By the way good call on erasing that disconnected material.66.235.36.153 (talk) 03:49, 17 December 2015 (UTC) Respectfully A Contributor.

When it comes to controversies that involve politicians, our WP:BLP policies require us to be extremely careful. That means, for starters, that we can't rest them on a single source — if The Tyee was one of several news organizations that had reported on the matter, then it would be fine as one source among several, but if it was the only news organization that thought the story was newsworthy, then there's a problem.
Their coverage also falls quite a bit short of clearly demonstrating that she was actually guilty of any significant or noteworthy wrongdoing in the matter. Sure, there was an angle to the situation that looked a bit hinky, but alleging wrongdoing and proving wrongdoing are two very different things — and for something like that to be appropriate content in an encyclopedia, it would have to meet the "proven" standard and not just the "alleged" one. The Tyee piece certainly makes insinuations of guilt by association, but it falls far short of proving that she did anything that would warrant permanent inclusion in an encyclopedia article about her as a major aspect of her career in politics. Bearcat (talk) 17:07, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- I agree it is a difficult issue. How much proof is there?! BTW, do you know the book https://books.google.nl/books?id=_MCECgAAQBAJ&pg=PT85&lpg=PT85&dq=Kevin+Lichtenstein+received+a+residency+position+in+cardiac+surgery+at+St.+Paul%27s+Hospital&source=bl&ots=lraNQXVQnv&sig=qSh3AY-GdvhJK-T2hJ5j1SAVHHU&hl=nl&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjatISb9uXJAhVHow4KHUuLCp8Q6AEIOjAD#v=onepage&q=Kevin%20Lichtenstein%20received%20a%20residency%20position%20in%20cardiac%20surgery%20at%20St.%20Paul%27s%20Hospital&f=false by MacLeod? All circumstantial talk, very difficulty to get a clear verdict. So yes maybe we should drop the issue. Cheers, Super48paul (talk) 09:50, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
The Tarantulas deleted material replaced with accurate documented material
All of the pertinent information regarding The Tarantulas trademark disputes is located on the USPTO website, which is referenced under the trademark section. The USPTO website contains actual documents available to the public concerning the legal disputes between Shams and other entities, not just bands. These are the documents that should be used under the trademark section of the wiki artice for The Tarantulas, and they are factual, correct legal documents.
- OK, got the message (finally!). If you see so, try to give PRECISE ref on that PTO site about this specific case. A general ref to that website is insufficient, since the average Wikipedian will drown amidst all info there. Give it a try to state precise refs that will do. BTW, the source that was given seems nice enough to me; we do not only need legal stuff abut this issue! In the meantime, until we resolve our controversy, I revert back to the version by Michig which predates that controversy: OK? Super48paul (talk) 10:04, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Your reference source is inaccurate, Holslin, Peter (2013) "Grand Tarantula vs. The Tarantulas", San Diego City Beat, May 28, 2013. Retrieved June 8, 2013. The information stated in the article is merely an editor's re-writing of an interview. "Shams has acted against 10-15 bands", that would never hold up in a Wikipedia article. "Shams has acted against bands". What kind of legal action? This can be found on the USPTO website. The statements in the article " Holslin, Peter (2013) "Grand Tarantula vs. The Tarantulas", San Diego City Beat, May 28, 2013. Retrieved June 8, 2013" are unreliable to say the least. I will have to get a few more opinions on this and then I will get back to you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.156.98.70 (talk) 10:18, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Replying To Message
I received a message today in regards to an edit on the Master P Wiki page under my IP address (I will not disclose the IP address for security reasons). After reviewing the said edits, I can confirm to you with a straight face that I did not make them. Somebody hacked into my assigned IP address to vandalize the Master P page. I did a Google IP check today to verify my IP address, and unfortunately, it matched with the one in your message. Since becoming a member of Wikipedia, I always make sure to sign in and sign all my contributions. I mainly do them at the Talk page, and if it's extremely necessary, with a reliable source at hand, I'll make a hard edit on the article. ElMeroEse (talk) 18:13, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Super48paul. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Pratt & Whitney TF30 have been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Why the removal of this gallery?! Joke or serious? Super48paul (talk) 13:38, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Pratt & Whitney TF30 and Allison TF41
Not a joke . The photo from that gallery are from a different engine; the specific number of compressor stages and combustion chamber type made any argument impossible ; this are photo of an TF41 engine not TF30.
you could see on enginehistory.org two photos of the same engine with correct designation. http://www.enginehistory.org/G&jJBrossett/NMNA/Allison%20TF41-A-2.JPG http://www.enginehistory.org/G&jJBrossett/NMNA/Allison%20TF41-A-2%20combustor.JPG
- Great! Could you repair the gallery then in the correct way? Thanks. Super48paul (talk) 17:03, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
NO Sorry. :). I do not know how to do it.

Improving chart at Legality of cannabis by U.S. jurisdiction
This article is the most-viewed page for cannabis issues in the US (~1,500 views/day). I think we can streamline it to make it less clunky and more intuitive for readers, especially now that we have state-specific articles for all US states.
