Why thank you! I'm getting credit for simply nominating now, am I? ;) --Candlewicke ST # :) 15:43, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
I believe your concerns have been addressed. Please look at the alternates. ErikTheBikeMan (talk) 22:35, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Six Nations image
What happened to the image of the Millennium Stadium? Surely we shouldn't be moving down ITN? --candle•wicke 21:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- I too came on, saw this, shook the computer a bit and passed it off as some unusual quirk you had all decided upon. I just thought it was strange that an image then appeared and was from further down. I think someone objected and removed an entire ITN and an image. Is there a rule against having no image? --candle•wicke 21:19, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- There are currently two image captions and one image. Hopefully you will have that solved by the time I save this. But if not... oh, the disabilities of not being able to sort these errors out myself... --candle•wicke 21:21, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Reply from ZooFari
Reply: Thanks for your comments, as well as the "tip". I was seconds away from using the no context tag, but this tag quite confuses me. Perhaps you may clarify. Would this tag used for articles with context, but biased? Or just a patent non-sense tag? For example:
===Irmenter=== (just a made up title) a type of bird.
Thanks for your help. ZooFari 22:32, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. ZooFari 22:50, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
My adminship
Thanks Spencer! Sorry, I haven't been active in Latakia lately. We need to finish that To-Do list and move on the to the big boys like Damascus and Aleppo! I've been a little busy with Saladin and updating populations for the Palestinian localities in the West Bank, but will jump back to the cities of Syria soon. --Al Ameer son (talk) 19:37, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
ITN AFD sample design
You don't appear to be online but I'll notify you of the sample design I created to give a vague indication of what ITN might look like on 1 April 2009. --candle•wicke 00:28, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

If I come across the original again, I'll see what I can do, but I'm afraid that I have this and a lot of other potential FPs in a somewhat disorganised arrangement, and it'll probably be quite some time before I locate it. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 02:34, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

ITN query
Hi, may I have credit for creating and nominating 2009 L'Aquila earthquake? I called it 2009 Italian earthquake at the the time because it had only happened a couple of hours previously and there was some confusion in the source which seemed to indicate Rome had been affected as well. I would still express reservations about it being L'Aquila only, as I witnessed a BBC television report last night which indicated dozens of bodies had been found in a nearby town and that other villages were affected too. But naming disputes are minor enough... --candle•wicke 19:52, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
ITN is seriously underfunded... we should demand more contributions! Oh wait, we've tried that already...:) --candle•wicke 20:28, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ah yes, I've noticed that... you'll soon need a subpage... --candle•wicke 20:34, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Query
I know any administrator can post an ITN but can one post an ITN if a discussion at WP:ITN/C appears to be going against it? An admin at Talk:Death of Ian Tomlinson has attempted to post that item on the Main Page, ignoring the discussion and therefore making any opposition or debate pointless. I've pointed this out at a discussion on that page which seems to so far be going slightly against me. Or, at least if someone else were to come along and say they wanted it on the Main Page, it would be most certainly going against my somewhat feeble counter-argument, an argument which seems to be in line with standard ITN procedures concerning international significance. Whatever do you make of the situation? Should I leave it alone? But if it were to be posted it would seem unfair as other ITNs have been rejected for less and there appears to be the start of an attempt to elevate this one in status... oh, it is all such a puzzle as the admin seems to think they are correct and yet so do I. It cannot but end unhappily. :-S --candle•wicke 00:23, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Wow, I really sounded desperate there. :P Well it hasn't ended either happily or unhappily so I guess that's good. --candle•wicke 03:26, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
