Hello Phantom Oficiall. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Phantom Oficiall. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Phantom Oficiall|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. signed, Rosguill talk 20:26, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
- Good afternoon, regarding my editions and pages created for Wikipedia in English in the month of November, I inform you that I do not receive any money from an external company or entity, I am only a Peruvian Wikipedian, who has belonged to Wikipedia since 2021 specifically in the wikipedia in Spanish, here is my user: Usuario:Phantom Oficiall . My objective to create articles on wikipedia in English is simply to divulge the cinema of my country (Peru), because compared to other countries like Chile, Argentina or Mexico, there are not many articles about Peruvian films of comedy, suspense, sports, musical, etc. And I thought it would be nice, to create and edit those articles. I am very sorry if I made you believe that I was creating these pages for money. Phantom Oficiall (talk) 21:23, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
- All good, your username (esp. "Official") combined with the focus on recent films raised red flags, but I'm happy to take your response at face value. signed, Rosguill talk 21:56, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Ways to improve Viejos amigos
Hello, Phantom Oficiall,
Thank you for creating Viejos amigos.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Thank you for the article! Though, articles at Wikipedia need to pass notability guidelines, either the general one WP:GNG or the film one WP:NFILM in this case. I have posted at the talk page for details. Many thanks!
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|VickKiang}}

Copying/translating from other language Wikimedia projects
Hi. It appears that an article you created, A Martian Named Desire, is a translated copy of the existing Spanish Wikipedia article es:Un marciano llamado deseo. Please note that when you copy/translate text from another language Wikimedia project, you are required to provide copyright attribution to the original source. You can do so simply by attributing the original source in an edit summary, as I've already done for your article here. Failing to provide attribution is a copyright violation. Please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia, especially the section on translations. Bennv123 (talk) 05:02, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
- I see that an article you created previously, Viejos amigos, is also a translation of an existing Spanish Wikipedia article es:Viejos_amigos. I've provided the necessary attribution for this article as well ([1]). But please go through your previous articles and provide the copyright attribution where applicable. Regards. Bennv123 (talk) 05:13, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
El apostolado moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, El apostolado, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Large portion of this article is sourced to Instagram and Facebook. References from reliable sources are essential. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. I reverted to the redirect. As I explained in the edit summary, if you wish to create an article about the film, you'll need to create a new article. What you did is called "hijacking" a redirect. Long-standing redirects have lots of pages linked to them. But to create the new page will be simple. All you need to do is go into the redirect's history, and look at the page just before I reverted it. Then you can copy the material there, and paste it to the new page. Hope this helps. Possible copyright issue on La Cebra
Hi. I noticed you just created an article on La Cebra, but much of it seems to be copied/paraphrased from other sites:
- La Cebra article
Leandro and Odon are two young patriots who want to join the revolutionary forces of Álvaro Obregón. To do so, they travel to the north of the country on a zebra they found in a damaged circus, believing it to be a “gringo” horse. They name him Fucker and embark on a large number of adventures during their journey: they escape from the women who enslave them, they meet General Quesada, who wants to found a New Republic, they get lost in the desert, etc. Over time they find out that it is not a gringo horse, but a zebra that comes from the African continent. When they arrive at Obregón's army, a colonel believes they are Pancho Villa's spies and puts Leandro and Odon to a tough test of loyalty: Odón must kill Leandro.
- Film Affinity [2]
Leandro and Odón want to be obregonistas and go to the north in a zebra – an animal they found in a decimated circus - thinking that it’s a “US foreign” horse. Along their trip, they have various adventures: they escape from a group of women who enslaved them; they meet General Quesada, who wants to found a New republic; they are lost in the desert, etc. When arriving with Obregon’s troops, a Colonel thinks they are Pancho Villa´s spies and supporters, and to prove his fidelity, Odón must kill Leandro.
- IMDB [3]
Leandro and Odon want to join Alvaro Obregon's revolutionary forces. To do so, they travel to the north of the country on a zebra that they found in a broken down circus, believing that it is a gringo horse. They have several adventures during their journey: they escape from women who enslave them, they meet General Quesada, who wants to found a New Republic, they get lost in the desert, etc. When they reach Obregon's army, a colonel thinks they are Villa's spies and puts Leandro and Odon to a hard test of loyalty.
Copyright violations are taken very seriously on Wikipedia and infringing material needs to be removed. Can you explain? Oblivy (talk) 01:37, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, Good evening, first of all thank you very much for writing to me and notifying me of this problem, I had a similar problem some time ago where others wikipedians accused me of the same thing and they put a warning in the middle of my article without notifying me first. Second, yes, I can explain it. Regarding all the sentences that you propose that are copies/paraphrased from other articles, it is true, but I always leave a reference to the source where I got the information. I try to vary the sources so that they are different, and that they are not always the same or use the synopsis or argument of pages such as imdb that are already in the "external links" section. At least that's my thought, if you think it's wrong, you can write to me and tell me about my bad deeds, I don't want to be a bad Wikipedian. Thank you for reading. Phantom Oficiall (talk) 02:05, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- If you copy text from another site, you should keep it limited and should include it as a quote. You can use the {blockquote} ( needs double "{" brackets) to include the quoted text. Note, however, that IMDB is a WP:Deprecated source, meaning that it is not considered a reliable source for an article. You can look for news articles, even in other languages.
- While I'm sorry you have had difficult experiences with other editors, I do think you need to find a way to make your edits comply with Wikipedia policy. Unfortunately, unless the copied/paraphrased information is removed I will have to report this as a copyright violation and the information will probably be deleted in just minutes or hours. I don't think this is what you want and that's why I posted this as a talk-page comment.

- Hello Phantom Official, I took to liberty to resubmit the draft of El apostolado, after adding reviews. The plot summary could be improved (as one user mentions) but I can't do it (I haven't seen the film). If you have the time and will to do it, it might help! Hello, You did not reply to my message (above) about my resubmitting your draft, fait enough, but in the meantime you cut and paste the whole section I had added to it, in the existing PAGE on this Wikipedia (whose existence you most obviously were aware of, and I, as obviously, not). Again, fair enough. I just think you could (in fact should) have let me know, or undone the resubmitting of the draft or mentioned somewhere that you knew there was a page and no more work was needed. I was not expecting thanks but at least a brief word would have been the minimum so as not to leave the page for reviewers to assess in vain. — MY, OH, MY! 09:29, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, I'm sorry for all the situation you had to go through. In retrospect, you deserved a thank you for improving a part of my article. Thank you, really thank you. I hope this situation does not happen again. Phantom Oficiall (talk) 02:43, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 181.66.177.120. Good afternoon, I am writing to inform that my IP address was blocked and I consider that it was collateral damage. I am not a person who uses a VPN change service to negatively affect the English Wikipedia, I am just a Peruvian who likes to create movie related articles on this Wikipedia, this happened to me last year for the same reasons and not I was able to edit for weeks, I wouldn't want that to happen again, especially when I'm very active on Wikipedia. I don't know if my neighbors who live in the same apartment as me are using the VPN service incorrectly, but I think I deserve to be unbanned. Thank you for reading. Phantom Oficiall (talk) 16:31, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You are not banned, nor is the IP address. The IP address is, correctly, blocked as a confirmed P2P proxy. That's different from a ban. See Template:Blocked p2p proxy for more details. Yamla (talk) 18:46, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi, a portion of the text which you published when creating this article was revision deleted as a copyright violation. Loglines that are a part of any film's standard distribution package may seem safe to include as they are intended to advertise the film, but they are still non-free content, and their copyright status is the same as any other text that is presumed to be copyrighted. Plot sections of film articles need to be written in own words. Sincerely —Alalch E. 21:42, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Bama Rush. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 23:58, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
The article The Black Minutes (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This disambiguation page contains the primary topic and one other topic for the ambiguous title and no other topics can be found within a reasonable time.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:03, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Sembrando Libertad poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Sembrando Libertad poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:42, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Phantom Oficiall. Thank you for your work on Autoerotic (2021 film). Bastun, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Nicer work on your new article. It would benefit from being added to appropriate Wikiprojects. Also, can you revisit the 'Synopsis' section? You refer to Bruna by both male and female pronouns, and switch between them, which is quite confusing.

Hi, Phantom Oficiall! I saw that you recently moved The Signal (2007 film) to The Signal (2007 American film) with an edit summary stating that disambiguation is needed. However, at this time, this disambiguation seems unnecessary as there are no other films titled The Signal that were released in 2007 with articles on Wikipedia. Are you planning on creating one? If not, it would be best to move The Signal (2007 American film) back to the original page per the disambiguation guidelines. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions regarding this matter. :) Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:03, 28 September 2024 (UTC)

December 2024
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name.
Thank you.
