Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Message from Wrappos

Hi Oddbodz, I don't know where to leave a message, anyway i saw your message. I removed a text of the Leon Dănăilă page because of vandalism. I apologize if you said that i modified the page without explaining why. A user from United Kingdom defamed the person after Danaila entering politics a month ago, at 82. With over 54 years of experience as a surgeon and psychologist, with over 40,000 surgery operations, Danaila expressed a normal opinion about the life of a surgeon. You can see that user wants to do something bad, he used negative words, it's called denigration. This site is an encyclopedia, not gossip, Daily Mail, FOX News. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wrappos (talk • contribs) 16:13, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi there Wrappos. Looking at the article, the information you removed has been referenced. I would therefore not deem it as vandalism and if you wanted to remove it you need to provide a reason within the edit summary. in my personal opinion, if the controversies made the national press then they are worthy of being in the article. If you disagree with the inclusion of this content, might I suggest posting on the article's talk page in order to gain consensus - see WP:CON. Thanks, Oddbodz - (Talk) (Contribs) 16:20, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Message from Jonmojo

Hi Oddbodz,

I've been working on the page for WIZ (W.I.Z) - The man himself - We are trying to get this right in terms that works for Wikipedia, so any guidance you can offer would be well received. I apologise if you find my updates disruptive and can you please qualify what you mean by 'add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia' as that is clearly NOT our intent. We are trying to as educational and factual about WIZ and not self-promoting in any way. - Any assistance would be appreciated. Jonmojo (talk) 15:31, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi Jonmojo, when I reviewed your edit I noticed a large number of links to external press releases. While external links can be used, they must bring something to the article that is not already within it and/or couldn't be added due to copyright reasons. See WP:EL for more info. Since you mention you work for WIZ, I would also draw you attention to WP:ADV.
In addition, you mention you work for WIZ which could result in a conflict of interest - see WP:COI. Paid editing is highly discouraged on Wikipedia but if you wish to continue you must follow the conditions laid out in WP:COI - in particular, those in WP:PAY.
I hope this helps, please reply to this message if you have any further questions.
Thanks
Oddbodz - (Talk) (Contribs) 15:44, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for rapid response - Just to clarify I am working on WIZ's behalf and not actually being paid for it :) - I'm just more technically skilled than my friend. The links we have put up not 'Press Releases' in the traditional sense, they link to historic newspaper and magazine articles that relate to the Videos WIZ has worked on. I think we may have set these incorrectly as External links, when they should be References. Please let me kno if you agree. We are trying to be scholarly in our approach, rather than self promoting. I will certainly check the COI references and the other links you mentioned. How should I approach reinstating the work we've done today?
Thanks.Jonmojo (talk) 15:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Once you have read WP:COI, if you still feel it is appropriate to edit the article then you can used Wikipedias refrence tags to place an inline citation within the article to reference the links. For more instructions on this, see WP:CITE and WP:REFB. Thanks, Oddbodz - (Talk) (Contribs) 16:00, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Thanks again. Having read the WP:COI and re-read the BLP Policy, is it possible to do the edits offline and then submit them for approval?
Do I use the Article Talk page for this?
...and can you recommend an offline editor?
Thanks. Jonmojo (talk) 14:42, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
There would be nothing stopping you creating a draft version and yes, the best option is to post it on the article's talk page, declaring your COI and waiting for another editor to add it. To my knowledge there isn't any 'offline editors'. However, you could create a draft copy within your userspace. For example, you could create the page User:Jonmojo/Sandbox and create the draft version there. For more info on userspace drafts, see WP:HUD. Wonderful, thank you. I'll do just that :). Jonmojo (talk) 19:06, 25 November 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Orbit Airlines

Hello Oddbodz,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Orbit Airlines for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can , but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Frozen 2 not in the canon

What reliable source reveals Frozen 2 is not in the Disney Classics canon?? Georgia guy (talk) 00:10, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

What reliable source reveals it is? Squeals have never formed a part of the Disney Classics cannon (see the edit note at the top of the page) so unless a reliable source can be found to proove otherwise, it shouldn't be listed in the article. Oddbodz - (Talk) (Contribs) 18:38, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
