Welcome, Noesleis!
Welcome to Wikipedia, Noesleis! I'm Royal Autumn Crest, and I've been assigned as your mentor. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.
You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.
If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

Hello, I'm BeeSpeed1989. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. This part is crucial: Donât make unconstructive edits in the sandbox just to raise one user access level. BeeSpeed1989 (talk) 22:28, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- I concur. Please read WP:GAMING. Sarrail (talk) 22:29, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Sandbox. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Stop making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia:Sandbox. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing. BeeSpeed1989 (talk) 22:35, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- How do you make unconstructive edits on a page that tells you to test out wikipedia Noesleis (talk) 22:37, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well, it's not easy, but you have provided an answer to that question at Special:Contributions/Noesleis already. If the block currently prevents helpful contributions to the encyclopedia, feel free to provide specific examples in an unblock request. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:38, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- I was trying to see what the limit was on how fast you could edit lol Noesleis (talk) 22:39, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've made a lot of contributions to Wikipedia on my IP address so I might look like a spam account but that's not the case Noesleis (talk) 22:40, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- There are several limits, technical and non-technical, in place. This one was non-technical.
- I can't see your IP address. Please make sure not to evade the block, though, as doing so is usually noticed quickly by checkusers and makes it extremely tough to return to the community. You're currently in a situation where requesting an unblock is comparatively easy. Your request needs to display an understanding of what led to the block; it needs to credibly explain why this won't be an issue anymore; and it should provide specific examples for helpful contributions that are currently prevented by the block. Ideas can be found at the Task Center and the community portal.
- There is no time limit for requesting an unblock, so I strongly recommend that you take your time, at least a few days, before making a decision. If you're genuinely interested in improving Wikipedia, you'll be welcomed back. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:46, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at User talk:AmandaNP/IP regarding an issue where you have been involved. Thank you. BeeSpeed1989 (talk) 22:09, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- I don't really know what you're trying to say. I used my talk page because I was confused as to why I was blocked. I never tried to game the system or anything, it was a misunderstanding of what the sandbox was for. I was planning on appealing later, but now I get a message saying you want my talk page permissions revoked. I don't understand the policy well enough to understand why this is even necessary, as I haven't used it in a week and only used it to respond to warnings. I did edit on an IP previously, which I was going to include in my unblock reason Noesleis (talk) 22:12, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- AmandaNP will revoke your talk page access if you continue to edit inappropriately. BeeSpeed1989 (talk) 22:17, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- I can't edit though, I'm blocked? I'm really sorry if I'm not allowed to respond to warnings when blocked, is this a rule? /gen Noesleis (talk) 22:18, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- Noesleis, I'm sorry to see the confusion caused by BeeSpeed1989's messages above; please ignore them. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:57, 14 January 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hi, as a longtime lurker of Wikipedia and usual IP editor, I was really devastated to find out I was blocked indefinitely. It arose from a misunderstanding of what the sandbox was for; as it said to "test Wikipedia", and such I tested the edit limit after making a new account. I now realize this was wrong, but at the time I did not know of the scope of this statement and was unaware of the user sandbox. Additionally, I didn't have any malintent doing this, and wasn't trying to game the system. I know my only proof is "trust me", but I am being honest here. I love this wiki and everything it does, and I really don't want to be blocked from it. I also have no proof I edited on an IP previously, because I don't want to disclose that due to privacy, but I will promise I won't use this account to try and test Wikipedia's limits. I will take this situation into consideration as I try and better myself to be an actual Wikipedian. I edit a lot on Fandom and I like doing maintenance stuff (like managing categories) there, so I feel I'd make a great fit. If I am not allowed to request this unblock, please notify me to the rule around editing while blocked. I really don't want to cause any more trouble. Thank you.
Accept reason:
Okay, welcome back. When you have actually made 500 helpful contributions, please notify me on my talk page and I'll manually add the currently-removed extended-confirmation bit back to the account. There is no time limit for this, and I'll probably be happy to see if this happens after a few months rather than days. Take your time, and thank you very much for offering to help with maintenance tasks. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:57, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
Welcome back!
Here's wishing you a welcome back to Wikipedia, Noesleis. Feel free to remove any (or all) of the messages on your talk page; it's not meant to be a wall of shame. See WP:UP#CMT for details and feel free to copy the code from the top of my talk page in case you'd like to set up archiving.
Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
