As requested, added the page number to each books mentioned. As for other sources, they are mostly in Kurdish, and there is no way for me to reference those Kurdish sources. Also: IMDB is mention in relation to the filmography. And you can look at other Kurdish Director's listing here at Wiki, they all have same references. such as Karzan Kader: "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karzan_Kader".
Please know: I'm a cinephile, I happened to watch the films of Kardozi, especially his new film, "Where is Gilgamesh?" at a Kurdish film festival here in NY, and I was surprised to see there is no page for him in English here at Wikipedia, so I decided to make this page. It is time you guys help us list more Kurdish filmmakers to Wikipedia, they deserve more atttion.
Thanks,

Replaceable non-free use File:Image of Karzan Kardozi Filmmaker.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Image of Karzan Kardozi Filmmaker.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 01:46, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As my other Kurdish friends in our group, Kurdish Wiki, mentioned in their talk page to your request to delete their creation, can you explain to us why are you vandalizing and targeting Kurdish related pages for deletion? Your history in the past day alone shows that you deliberately target Kurdish content for deletion. Please stop this vandalism:

Blocked for sockpuppetry

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Naderjamie6. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

{unblock|I worked at local library here in the city of Sulaimani, with other friends we do edit content mostly for Kurdish wikipages. It seem I have been blocked with my friend, Alan aka "Wendy2024" for the same reason stating that our accounts been used used abusively, because we with other Kurdish wiki editors appealed for Kurdish pages not to be deleted. Please check the IP address on our account, you see it comes from our local library. I have not abused anything here, only contributed to Kurdish pages. It is unfair that we are getting blocked for such reasons. Time after time Kurdish pages get deleted for reason that are not justified, and when we as a group appeal, we get blocked and banned. I do not use any proxy server, please, why you blocking people like us who contribute to Kurdish pages? It is not fair, and it only lead to Kurdish users like me going away and not contributing anymore~~}}

Please note that this user is still evading their block. See User:BonitueBera. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 10:14, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

To Wiki Legal Team:

As members of the Wiki Kurdish group, many of us who gathered at our local library contribute to Wiki articles and work together to stop the vandalism and deletion of Kurdish-related pages. We demand justice, a review, and an explanation for why we are blocked based on the IP address used by our local library. All our user are not target as “Sockpuppet” to my talk page. (The user Spiderone keep targeting all our previous and new members as Sockpuppet to my page based on the relation of the IP address in our local library)

Not only are we blocked for unjust reasons, but we can no longer edit articles or contribute our voices to Kurdish pages that are vandalized and deleted without proper justification.

Some of us, like our colleague Alan (username: Wendy2024), have been clearly threatened with having our right to pursue legal action and appeal for justice by users such as Ymblanter. This is a clear case of extortion – threatening us to abandon our legal rights in exchange for having our blocks removed.

As members of the Kurdish Wiki group, we will provide all the necessary proof to demonstrate this violation of our rights and the rules and regulations of Wiki that we agreed to when we began contributing. We will pursue legal action in the US and consider joining a Class Action Settlement if our IP is not unblocked and our accounts are not reinstated. We will also demand the release of the names and IP addresses of those responsible for this injustice committed against us.

We have done nothing that violates Wiki's rules and policies, yet we are repeatedly blocked and our articles deleted simply because they are related to Kurdish topics.

Injustice has been committed against all of us. We are all banned and blocked due to the prejudice of a few, especially the user "NameGame," who nominates Kurdish articles for deletion. Instead of investigating "NameGame" and their destruction of Kurdish Wiki articles, we are the ones blocked and banned. Why is this user not investigated for their vandalism and targeted attacks on Kurdish pages? Time and time again, we have appealed to have this user's vandalism stopped and to prevent them from targeting Kurdish pages, but we were the ones blocked and banned for voicing our concerns. Please look at his contribution history just in the past few days, all targeting the deletion of Kurdish related pages:

User contributions for NameGame

We appeal to you to make a just decision, restore our rights as users, and investigate the true reason and cause for all these problems: the vandalism and deletion of Kurdish-related pages.

Decline reason:

Legal threats mean automatic blocking. You are in full control of that; withdraw the legal threats, and that aspect of the block will be relieved. If you wish to address the "wiki legal team", you will find contact information here. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:23, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

As already noted, there is a strict policy that while legal action is pending or may become pending against Wikipedia, the participants may not contribute to Wikipedia. This doesn't remotely fit any legal definition of extortion, as the party in a legal action is always allowed to request an end to legal proceedings, and there is no legal right to edit content on a privately owned website. Even assuming in good faith that what you say is true, that you are editing as a group of people and these are not your sockpuppets, there's no right to group edit Wikipedia, there's no group-reporting in Wikipedia, and, in fact, many things that groups can do violate WP:MEATPUPPET.

Threatening Wikipedia users -- and English Wikipedia users especially -- with legal action is a spectacularly ineffective tactic. You won't get your way in the end, and even if you follow through, you'll spend tens of thousands of dollars or more, depending at what point the frivolous lawsuit is dismissed. If your ultimate goal is to improve English Wikipedia on Kurdish topics, this is about the worst possible way to achieve that goal. If you actually care about Kurdish topics, your best chance of contributing to those topics would be to be an editor in good standing who doesn't violate Wikipedia's policies.
